Nah man I want music to grind a dudes ass to while groping his Andrew Christian brand jockstrap with one hand and feeling his abs in another while sucking on his diamond stud earring he has on his left ear with another dude behind me feeling my ass and whispering "you like that, faggot?" into my ear over and over again in a hot tub with a bunch of other dudes, some wearing more makeup than others as we pass around a bottle of Vodka while talking about the latest episode of RuPaul's Drag Race
Not some pride parade bullshit

The singer on colours and koolaid lovers sounds like a total sissy. He sounds like someone from pentatonix or some other disney ass youtube channel. They should have filtered his vocals or used another singer or just used samples. I couldn't emotionally relate to his voice because he was so corny he didn't even sound human. This album isn't gay though, and being gay =/= being a corny sissy.
...
He's from Mercury Rev if I don't remember correctly.
Also I thought the corniness was beautiful, gave it a nice duality of maturity/innocence to me.
