Yes, I told my mom once how Gesualdo killed his cuckers, it personally surprises me how he remainded in freedom after that, but I guess those were the times then. Stockhausen happens to be one of my favorites, and has been since I first listened to him. Gesang der Junglinge got me into him, but his output from 1966-1971 is amazing. I much recommend Mikrophonie I or Telemusik if you haven't listened to it already. I'm not a believer myself, but there's something about religious music that's pretty likeable. Not only musically, but it being meant for God, seems honest.
