THE BREXIT?????

if the so-called brexiteers are so sure the public want brexit why are they afraid of a second referendum now all the facts are available??

Trainlad voted for Bremain, but he's keeping an open mind during Brexit x

>Every country should be as self-reliant as possible not rely on others for goods and services.

why?

>Keeping the wealth circulating in the UK instead of sending it abroad, is also good for the economy.

that's not how trade works. protectionism means less wealth for everyone

>It also prevents the "race to the bottom" where workers in different countries are pitted against one another for lower and lower standards while the owners walk away with massive profits.

ah yes, producing things more effectively is bad now, gotcha

again, why should i subsidise machine operators' lifestyles if polish ones can do it just as well?

DONT CALL IT A GRAVE, ITS THE FUTURE YOU CHOSE

>At the time Margaret Thatcher became Prime Minister in 1979, decades of statist policies had turned Britain into the sick man of Europe. The government owned the big manufacturing firms in industries such as autos and steel. The top individual MTRs on income were 83 percent on "earned income" and an eye-popping 98 percent on income from capital. Frequent labor strikes paralyzed transportation and led to garbage piling up in the streets of London. Much of the housing stock was government-owned. Britain had lagged other European economies for decades, growing far more slowly than most economies on the continent. Thatcher's reforms were among the most comprehensive in the world, and by the mid-1980s, Britain was growing faster than the other major European economies. By 2008, it had a higher per capita income than Germany, France, and Italy.

really makes you think...

Bacon (Norman, French)

>be NI voter
>Pro union, but worried England is going to force Sharia on us
>Suddenly the republic isnt looking like such a bad deal
>Oh wait, sinn fein will import Muslims by the billion
Absolute state of this lads

The EU is doomed to failure anyway. It's a shitshow of countries with hundreds, if not thousands of years of separate history, and conflicting interests. What shared interests does Finland share with Malta? Or Spain with Latvia?
Yes, leaving will cause a short-medium term economic hit, but it will shield us from the fallout when the whole thing goes tits up in 10-20 years anyway

Jim Callaghan would have managed our transition better than Thatcher

higher inequality too

campaign for neoliberalism in your own country if you love it so much

There is so much wrong about that paragraph.

I don't even know where to start.

did it lads, I currently look like a skinny bronson

Try

Ran out of clean socks too

>crisis? What crisis?

>he thinks people will move to a shithole

that's a typical reply of someone who doesn't actually know what's wrong, but just doesn't like the sound of it

"I don't have time to tell you what's wrong with that" is also another favourite of the Left

What's the matter Pádraig?

statism literally saved us in 1945 and don't you forget it

Just got a new chair but not sure if I like it but I have to pretend like I love it so I can justify the purchase haha

>wanting to be independent as a nation
>buys products from around the world
>eats ethnic cuisine
>plays video games with people from around the world
>engages in discussion with people from around the globe on a foreign site.

How can anyone think that political isolation works in a world where the people you know and the things you use come from different nations around the globe

this is 1979 though

ordoliberalism desu

First nobody actually paid the top rates of taxation, so it's a point without meaning.

Britain's growth being inferior to other countries was because capital controls were the most liberal in Britain compared to France and Germany where they were far more strict.

Britain's GDP growth was faster in the 30 years before Thatcher than the 30 years after Thatcher. The large fleet of social housing kept house/rent prices down which redirected income to the non-rentier, productive side of the economy. Selling off the social housing, just meant more and more income going to landlords who aren't producing new goods and services.

The Labour strikes were what gave British workers decent pay, working conditions, safety for consumers etc. Since the destruction of the unions, workers have fallen further and further behind.

Dungannon is already owned by the Lithuanian mafia I dont see what you are worried about

>tfw 6'4 and built like a british constitution

Because those products and those people are still in their own country before we interact with them, they don't live here and compete with us

tell that to
>america
>canada
>australia
>south korea
>japan
>brazil
>multiple other countries

It's not just that. 600,000 whites leaving London in the space of 10 years is a pretty big deal

Yez zis iz zee bacor :3

Daily reminder to embrace The Golden Rule.

how do i do nofap when there's so much great amateur porn out there lads?

want her to kick me in the bollocks lads

If you can't compete with an immigrant that has no degree and very bad English skills then you don't deserve a job.

dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3899540/Go-away-shouldn-t-Don-t-come-corner-Yorkshire-no-white-residents.html

>There are almost no white residents to be found in Savile Town, Yorkshire
>Last census found only 48 of 4,033 people living there were white British

Is this diversity? A town that's like 99.5% non-British

satan has a point lads

No it is just that, I was stating a fact not a suggestion

>Britain's GDP growth was faster in the 30 years before Thatcher than the 30 years after Thatcher

there was a worldwide slowdown in growth in the 1970s. what matters is who grew the fastest relative to other countries, and that was britain post thatcher

>The Labour strikes were what gave British workers decent pay, working conditions

that might have been true in an earlier era, but in the 1970s they lead mostly to civil unrest and stagflation

THICK

This "town" is only a couple of streets which is a suburb of a suburb of a suburb

>Britain's GDP growth was faster in the 30 years before
That's misleading though. That growth was because of the post war rebound for the most part. Economic malaise was setting in by the late 60s

Lads, I think GF2016 has taken a drastic turn

Thatcher and Blair were our two best PMs 2bh

the point of the EU was to find common ground and shared interests at which they'd strive to promote.

You can't be a catalyst to a collapse then say that it was doomed to fail and justify your exit which has caused so much strife in the EU to begin with.

Competing as in buying a house that a Brit could be living in, using services and benefits that a Brit could be using

I'm not saying I couldn't buy the coffee. I just don't need it. Naturally awake.

Who /non-white/ here?
