Post happy hardcore. Favorite songs, artists, hidden gems, classics etc Also, feel free to post gabber, hardstyle, breakbeat, rave, eurotrance and other genres from around that same time and spirit. As well as modern stuff like UK hardcore, modern hardcore and j-core.
I'll post some old stuff, mainly from the mid 90's onward. And mainly off bonkers 1-5. Then I'll post some newer UK tracks maybe.
I noticed he's one of the bigger names in the modern hardcore scene
James Butler
going to post some new UK/modern hardcore stuff now. Most of these are going to be lesser known artists making songs I found through UK hardcore youtube compilations and promotion channels.
Never really listened to sharkeys more hard stuff (again, most of my exposure to the genre was through bonkers). I'll have to give hard life a good listen.
I like dark psyche the most. HHC is too frantic and not contemplative and brooding enough for me

This sort of music was designed to be played at raves and parties and that. I think trance is more mindful of people who just want to listen to it through headphones.

So is the shit I'm referring to... psychedelik.com always had it listed as "dark psyche" and it sounds nothing like the Goa/other psych stuff they have on there, maybe more like a dark hardcore? Idk, I dug up a link to one of my old favorites
Apparently barely anyone listens to it because I never see it mentioned anywhere
Isaac Reyes
It's pretty hard to find mainstream trance on Sup Forums let alone the smaller trance/psych subgenres.
I used to be into trance, but it was mainly more popular uplifting stuff, which is closer to hhc in spirit. Goa and psy stuff is good though. The steady low pulsating beat makes it good to have on in the background

Nothing augmented my acid trips like listening to the dark psych stream. In this case low-tone repetition is a foundation for other-tone debauchery. Always had a massive grin on my face
