Why do people hate this one again? And before "THE COVERS" this was still pretty early in The Beatles discography.

The only Beatles album with good covers is Please Please Me
Prove me wrong
>Why do people hate this one again?
Because it's bad
>b-but The Smiths!
The Smiths were never good, stop forcing yourself to believe that
No reply makes me cry every time
>Realize Beatles For Sale was The Smiths before The Smiths even Smithed.
The covers (with the exception of Words of Love) broke whatever sonic coherence and flow the original tracks could've created on their own.
how baked was derek taylor when writing that?
>please mr. postman
>roll over Beethoven
>you really got a hold on me
>money
Funny, I don't remember The Smiths' bringing out an undirectional mess of an album? This album sucks, the best example of The Beatles Smithing was Ticket to Ride on Help!
Baked enough to accurately predict the future.
Beatles For Sale and Help! are one great album stretched over two records and padded with filler, imo.
Let It Be is their worst album
Most everything they released before Rubber Soul is like 3/5ths filler
Fortunately they were good enough that even the filler was enjoyable most of the time.

I'm a Loser
You've Got to Hide Your Love Away
I Need You
Every Little Thing
I'll Follow the Sun
Ticket To Ride
Eight Days a Week
Words of Love
I've Just Seen a Face
It's Only Love
What You're Doing
Yesterday
Help!
Could've been their In The Wee Small Hours desu
do this for Please Please me and With The Beatles
Not bad, though I would swap either "What You're Doing" or "Every Little Thing" for "I Don't Want To Spoil The Party"
I've never heard anyone hate on Beatles for Sale, just people saying it's their worst album.
In Beatles terms, "worst album" is more like "least good album".
I've always thought A Hard Days Night was their weakest. Not as catchy as its predecessors and not as feelsy as its successors
FUCK NO
what u gettin so mad about bruh I'm just chillin over here
literally one of their best albums along with help!
(not true, by the way)
there is literally nothing that separates rubber soul from help!, the idea that they suddenly got better with rubber soul is a meme at best
>with the beatles
>beatles for sale
>help!
>not some of their best work

Absolutely this
Weird. I always thought this was one of the better early Beatles albums. Definitely better than Meet The Beatles. IMO they just kept getting better, except I'd put PPM above BFS.
White people grave robbing black people THE ALBUM.
2/10
>Beatles For Sale?
The worst?
9/10?
No fucking way dude.
All of the smiths albums were shit though

I can mostly agree with this. I enjoyed the queen is dead though.

This
Boring garbage with ridiculous lyrics and vocals that set the tone for all the shitty indie to follow
This and Beatles 65 are great albums. The two Carl Perkins' covers alone are worth the price of admission but I'm a big fan of both George AND Ringo so I freely admit my bias.
And I don't give a fuck what others think I LIKE Mr. Moonlight and think it's a great cover.
Plus this is the album that has I Feel Fine which is one of the best Beatles songs of 1965. That open fade in fuzzed out A chord at the very beginning is totally boss!
