No. Whatever ASMR triggers you're sensitive to will become apparent with minimal effort. If you're hearing it, and you're not feeling anything, then you're just not sensitive to that particular trigger.
There's no "retro asmr," but I think prefer the scene before it blew up in recent years. Sure, more people being made aware of the medium means a proliferation of good, creative content, but it's also more difficult to find said content because it's buried in a deluge of the disinterested that only participate because they want to make a quick buck.
