I saw this going around Sup Forums a lot recently and I decided to give it a try. Now I agree with that small crowd! Behind the ambient techno there is some of the most sonically experimental music ever made. This album is incredible

I could easily see this being Sup Forums core once we get over that a classic album does not require lyrics. This album really did push boundaries for hidden experimentation. The way he sampled nature bring a spiritual process that no other artist can manipulate.

The MOST sonically experimental? Isn't it just a bunch of Wagner samples?

Heh, I like this album but it's not /that/ good. It's extremely solid for what it is and experimental in a way for how it puts the sonic experimentation to use in an extremely digestible and pleasant way, making it come off as "just ambient techno" instead of "boring pretentious bullshit" is very nice.
