There's an oddly high amount of jazz in here for a chart thread.

here. I like pretty much everything on there, although I haven't heard that YYY album since it was relatively new (1-2 years from its release). Never listened to Menzingers, After Lives or Bottomless Pit either. I'm listening to that Hop Along album right now though and it's great.
fuck me that was a lot of modest mouse. heard Sun Kil Moon's Tiny Cities? - not my thing but if you're that much of a fan, it might be up your street.

rude
wow i could have posted this chart desu
try Randy Rice - To Anyone…or explore more Brazilian/Clube da Esquina authors:
>Edu Lobo - Missa Breve (1973)
>Lô Borges - s/t (1972)
>Milton Nascimento - s/t (1970)
more modern ambient:
>Isorine - No strength of sun
>Albur! - 0.02
Menzingers are sing-along punk, Afterlives is a really underrated project Dan Barrett worked on with his brother, and Bottomless Pit is the classic 90s band Silkworm reformed. I recommend all of them!
If you want to get into Jazz you should check out Blues & Roots by Charles Mingus. Very accessible, but still eminently respectable. His basswork on that album is amazingi.
In my opinion, it's the best thing he ever released.
If you like innervisions listen to the key of life and talking book, there pretty gud.
miles davis - the complete in a silent
miles davis - kind of blue
+Unplugged, Aphrodite's Child, Freewheelin', Paul's Boutique
