Description:
Tragedy and viscera, established vicariously through slow, warm, looping and warping drones, glitches, bursts of noise, stinging synths and overwhelmingly profound levels of volume. In the ever expanding thirty eight minutes that creates this single track, Jorge embodies the strong foundations of these beliefs in what is Fauxiliary.
Now available for stream and download!
Support, scrobble, or review on RYM. Any feedback of any kind would be greatly appreciated. And give Jorge some love. Thank You. :)
Will still be accepting submissions for the label.

I think Natural is a really catchy song. I really wish it was just a little tighter? I think later on the EP Surreal Exposure actually does not have this problem. I also think the melody in that is quite nice. Also the cover art is cool.
I think the way you incorporate noise into your stuff is really creative and I like it.
This is really groovy. The songs really wear their repetiousness very well. I like it a lot. Pleasantly surprised. Would have downloaded if it was free but $7 is kinda steep but if that works out for you then all the more power to you.
Yeah natural is not tight at all. The drums are sort of all over the place and the second guitar got really fucked up. Thanks about surreal exposure tho. I didn't write it, it's a Ducktails song
I actually think the fucked up out of tempo thing on Natural is cool. Like it's constantly lagging and has a cool ramshackle feel to it.

The follow up to this album is a 5 song EP made by three of the four guys on Eye Contact. It's a lot more dirty and rough with a lot of variance like Eye Contact but still presenting new styles to that of Eye Contact. Could be out late this year.
Also I did this split under the Larksburg name just by myself and people seemed to like it when it came out so here's that too

really like the production. drums sound 8-bit ish and the guitars are recorded/mixed p well. not a humongous fan of the vocals tho. i just feel like the affected "tired" sound doesnt really jive well with these instrumentals. but thats my personal taste.
of the tracks that are available, theyre cool. are produced nice, or at least in such a way as to not distract. cant say it was grabbing my attention much while i was listening tho. why pre-order tho? just put the whole album out if its done.
i like how shitty this feels, like its mac demarco but you left the cassette out on the dashboard before you went to work. but honestly i cannot read a thing on ur bandcamp its eyerape.
aaaa if your guys vocals were worse this would be sick beat happening worship, but you guys are so cute. im reminded of trixies big red motorbike, to a degree
this is a bummer because there are some really nice ideas here that are mired by the bad mixing and mastering as well as the dissonant sample choices. certain things just dont work well with eahother compositionally and it honestly feels as though youre throwing random things in for textures sake (which is fine) without first determining if it aids the music thats already happening. it just feels like blaaahhhhhhhhh, like sounds for the sake of sounds, and thats not something im super interested in.
this is pretty fresh. i like your palette of sound and the elements you use sound nice and are mixed well. i like ho at its core each side is a track but it morphs and mutates in a way that fools you into thinking many things are going on. what kinda gear do you use?
lets fucking go. firstly this album cover is fucking litttttt, like omg flames. as far as the musics concerned, i think most of these beats are functional but work on your mixing/EQing
>this is a bummer because there are some really nice ideas here that are mired by the bad mixing and mastering as well as the dissonant sample choices
I know, im pretty uneducated when it comes to production, but the album is mostly about spaciousness, I guess I did that wrong too

lol dont apologize! my disliking it just means its not for me. everyone has something to improve on but even at your most unrefined someone is bound to enjoy it. admittedly i didnt giev it a dedicated listen so id imagine i misse some stuff, but i did pick up the sprawling sort of feel to the samplework, it did seem like the elements were moving at a million MPH even when the track itself was mildly paced

New album via E-Con Records this Friday!
I remember you. Your music is pretty great!
The drums are mixed really weird so there's a constant wobbly sound and the lyrics are pretty engrishy. The music is cool though and the accent is charming. A bit too safe to be something I'll go back to I think.
I like the guitar sound. It sounds a lot more angry than the rest of the band so that's a nice contrast. Set in stone does kind of drag, like there so many times there's long pauses between one line and the next just to play the same riff again. I like the synth or whatever it is in the chorus. The lyrics are really cliche which makes it hard to take them seriously even though the subject matter is pretty dark.
I like the organ or what it is in the background. It has sort of a nostalgic feel to it. I don't think you have much to lose by raising your voice a little and singing a little clearer. I get that it's part of your aesthetic but I think the music would benefit from having just something to grasp onto there. Hydrophonics is my favourite track from the ones I heard.
I like this. the vocal could be higher in the mix but your performance is good. The lyrics are kinda so-so but it's more about the atmosphere I guess. I love it when it picks up with harmonizing and percussion towards the end. The cover photo is nice as well.
I really like this. Calling it avant-garde is a strethch though but I really like it. It's a shame you haven't gotten any other replies in the whole thread because you deserve to.
I am if anyone wanna give some feedback in return.

liked this one from earlier, will be cool to hear august release
Also reviewed this one earlier, I'd love more like the last track, very nice big sound and idea
Like the live feel of the drums and instrumentation, energy. Not a huge fan of scream but that's just me. I like the very active guitar playing, but I think the drums are the most impressive aspect.
Agree with the other user, this is super cute. Love the mixing and recording, so clean and clear! Good singing! You combine so many instruments at the end too, good layering production wise. Very hard to do well!
This puts me in a really nostalgic mood. Must be the aesthetic. I think this is very cute and nice, would like more sampling stuff (although some don't mix too well) and especially drums. Meteor is I think my favorite, very warm.
Maybe bots? That's a bit crazy
Love piano! Very impressed by how it was improvised without any retakes or edits as you say, would love to try a project like that myself. You really know how to set a mood. How long did it take you for a track, let's say?
