>Rush
no.
Portishead
Boards of Canada
BadBadNotGood
Crystal Castles
Os Mutantes
zeppelin is solid as fuck man
whats your beef with them?
neither is bowie
They're solid, but not solid enough. I don't think their whole discography should be counted as solid.
Both versions of Let It Be are definitely a stepdown in their discography.
American Football
for example?
Between the buried and me?
Nick Drake
Name a bad revocation album. Ill give you obscura, and rush i guess. I loved all their albums tho
bowie does not have a perfect dicog
Death Grips, not memeing
He said all good, not all shit. Not memeing
...
Everything after Physical Graffiti
Would The Velvet Underground count? I mean, they DO have Squeeze, but that's not a Velvet Underground album
...
anyone gonna argue against btbam, their first two albums I can see being judged but none the less still a top overall discography
I will admit thats what I'm least familiar with.
Starting now
...
guitarist Jimmy Page describes Presence as the band's "most important" album
this first song is kicking my ass pretty good
>the most boring band of the last 30 years
>no bad albums
hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha
close but badbadnotgood are memejazz. and i don't really know much about crystal castles but i suspect they don't fit either.
nice meme
Opeth
Radiohead, besides PH
Pixies
The Velvet Underground (obviously Squeeze doesn't really count)
Nick Drake
Joy Division
Elliott Smith
Jimi Hendrix
Portishead
Tom Waits
Can (pre-split)
The Police
>Pixies (pre-split)
ftfy
they have some nice beats
Syd Barrett
The Doors
>Nirvana
No, Nirvana fucking sucks and the beatles do not have a flawless discography look at Yellow Submarine.
Also Slowdive to answer your question OP
If they were bad, they probably wouldn't have survived it this century
this.
Adding Sonic Youth, Husker Du, Arcade Fire and Smiths
Oasis fucking sucks
Neutral Milk Hotel

Are you sure you're not just being thrown by the synth? This song is kicking my ass.
Kek
>being this contrarian
All of my love is a masterpiece you fucking pleb
The fucking production overall and the melody. It's all shit
I will concede that moving the chorus up an octave is a huge pet peeve of mine.
>octave
*or to a different key rather
Wenger Out
>Boards of Canada
Agreed
Billy Joel
The Police
the jimi hendrix experience
the smiths
joy division
pixies (if you ignore reunion)
roxy music
the velvet underground
Does anyone really believe all of autechre's discography is good?
I do. The progression is so interesting and rewarding. Easily my favorite of any artist.
The Grateful Dead, Blink182, Nirvana, The Beatles. Pink Floyde
I agree with the progression being interesting, but at multiple points in their career their sound has taken a dive backward. I can 'get' everything but amber, draft and quaristice.
no
Queens of the Stone Age.
Montie, I expected better
>Implying Sgt. Pepper and Yellow Submarine were solid.
Yeah, no.
why would you expect better from a literal sack of shit?
My niige
I love Bowie but you're forgetting the 80s and Tin Machine happened
100% this
This is you in every thread you don't get to have opinions
...
I'm sorry having taste is triggering you m8.
Paul was a garbage songwriter. His dance hall standards and "trippy" meme songs are garbage.
this comic is off topic (trips need to be ignored) but it's true
I know this is an unpopular opinion on Sup Forums, but I really love Pink Floyd's entire discography, including A Momentary Lapse of Reason (I enjoy the dark, melancholic vibes that was popular in the mid-80's present on the album, while still keeping Gilmour's base sound), and The Endless River, which I think of not as a final chapter (The Division Bell is the final album in the Pink Floyd "story"), but as a pleasant, smooth epilogue to the journey of their discography.
I really enjoy Syd's era, the chaotic era, the cooperative era, Roger's full control, and Gilmour-led Pink Floyd all in different ways.
>Rolling Stones Magazine Greatest Rock Bands of All Time
>plus Sonic Youth
In all seriousness, Pink Floyd, Rolling Stones and Sonic Youth had rocky late careers, while Beatles weren't good early career. Led Zeppelin's discography isn't perfect but I'd call each album at least solid.
Jethro Tull
Gentle Giant
Van Der Graaf Generator
The Who
The Kinks
yeah thats really my best discography list which would really only be different for stones who are absolutely rocky as fuck. Just judging the most solid discographies I might as well list Bombs of Death so thats why I went ahead and included the rolling stones

Their only release was a split 7" with the Canadian metalcore/grind band Acrid.
of course this is the most extreme example but the same concept still applies to everyone.
Off the top of my head
King Crimson
Can
The Velvet Underground (Barring Squeeze)
Boris
Sunn O)))
Earth
Crass
Sonic Youth
Coil
Swans
Current 93
Ween
David Bowie
Lou Reed
Brian Eno
James Chance
Nico
Portishead
Big Black
Magma
I know I might get some shit for this but I really don't get the appeal of the beetles. It's like they're nothing more than psychedelia with no teeth. Honestly I think they were a detriment to music in the 60's. They took the spotlight away from artists who actually made interesting, experimental, and thought provoking music.
mbv
Not familiar with the Velvet Underground's music. Why are people saying Squeeze doesn't count?
Pretty much no original members are involved. It's just Doug Yule taking complete creative control and labeling it TVU. Still not the worst record, had it been under Yule's name I'd still probably listen to it but it's atrocious to TVU standards.
>Can
Nigga have you heard the awful disco experiments they did after Damo left?
The only true answer to this question is Unwound, the most perfect discography ever
>Gentle Giant
forgetting the awful pop albums
Honestly everything but Out of Reach and Flow Motion (Which I don't remember very well, but I don't recall it being bad) is incredibly solid. I don't know why people decide to stop listening after Future Days. Soon Over, Lander, Saw Delight, and s/t are all fantastic
daft punk
Oh, and Camel
This band has never put out a mediocre or lame album. They are as consistent as a (post) punk band can get.
