>Finity
>R35TT is quickly becoming my favorite, some comfy songs on there my dudes
Is this the best BoC song?
It's great, but not representative of the style that made me love them in the first place, so no
Do you guys think we are going to listen to their unreleased stuff at some point in our lifetime? You know, Closes Vol. 1 and Catalogue 3, etc.
>Olson
>Geogaddi
>idk - they've put out some remixes recently?
>don't fear the reaper
>not familiar with their albums
where do i start, senpai?
Was Tomorrow's Harvest disappointing to any of you lads? I was bummed out at first but it's grown on me slightly
the hype campaign was absolutely brilliant. the album was OK. better than campfire headphase
>geogaddi is 66.06 minutes long, 666 mb .wav, yada yada
>their alias is hell interface
>b-but we're not satanist or occulist guys, we swear, we've been misinterpreted!
Yeah right. Only satanists can make music this sinister and seductively evil.
>hexagon sun
Correct.
It's okay but the sequencing is really weird imo.
>pic related
>Hard to pick up one, but right now is Kid for Today
I never understand why some people think Geogaddi is dark and depressing. For me the tracks are generally upbeat and psychedelic, with a eerie feeling on some of them, but never depressing.
More eerie than depressing, that said Devil still scares me
MHtRtC -> Twoism -> Hi Scores -> everything post-MHtRtC chronologically -> their unreleased stuff chronologically
BoC Maxima is very similar to MHtRtC, so listen to that early if you want to get a taste of their old stuff
>Melissa Juice
>Old tunes or geogaddi
They are set to release a new song or EP at some point. Pic related.
High Scores is a great EP, Music is my favorite, Geogaddi and Campfire are perfect for the right situation and when you're in the right mood (I first listened to geo in the dark during a 90 degree day with no AC on, and campfire while hiking through a state park.) Haven't heard Tomorrow's Harvest yet.
>Roygbiv
That shit should be played at my funeral, it's the perfect melody.
>Tomorrow's Harvest
Shoot me. It's the one I come back to the most. However, which album's my favorite changes constantly.
>Anecdotes
Dunno but does anyone remember when TH got released? I remember staying up until 3AM listening to some guy who live streamed the release in the middle of the desert.
I thought I heard somewhere that all the numbers in Aquarius add up to 666. Anyone know if this is true?
They are not nearly as popular as they used to be on here. Has anyone noticed that?
Yes, in all 3 versions of the song, the numbers add up to 666. Foreshadowing of geogaddi?
Best song from the best album.
>Twoism -> Hi Scores
> their unreleased stuff
Swap these, much more little gems in the unreleased tracks.
stoked about this, if true
I'm hoping it's a promo for an ep of the same name. Something like In A Beautiful Place.
Sixtyniner is my current senpai, such a beautiful tune.

Fav album is Geogaddi or R35TT
>Underrated tunes: XYZ, 5.9.78, Kiteracer 2
Statue of Liberty
Peacock Tail
King of Carnival
Buckie High
mmmmmmmhmmmmmm
Fuck man there's this comfy lake my family goes to and I always listen to BOC on the way up for maximum comfiness. Sorry for blogposting but do certain BOC tracks remind anyone else of certain places?
Pic very related.
The Campfire Headphase reminds me vividly of the time camping on Lake Michigan one summer when it was pleasantly raining and I was inside my tent on my air mattress listening to it. Fit so perfectly.

Geogaddi is the one I consider the best.
Don't know much about them, other than that I like them. :))))))))))))))
maybe, but I think overall they're somewhat uneven and wouldn't build a good expectation for their later stuff
their early stuff, while also great, is best experienced as an insight into their later sound imo
I first listened to Boc Maxima on a road trip to see my grandfather in Washington DC and heard Whitewater as I went over the bridge over the Potomac river. it was dawn, and the main melody dropped just as I peaked the bridge to see the sunrise across the sky in front of me.
needless to say, it was fucking perfect.
oh, I guess I should mention that Whitewater makes me think of that now
If anyone here doesn't have those OT/R35TT flacs that came out a few years back, here they are:
they feel so sinister to me.
>beware the friendly stranger
>Gyroscope
>Diving Station
>Opening the Mouth
>The Smallest Weird Number
they give me the lovecraftian kind of horror feeling where the fear is being insignificant. I fucking love this album because of it though. I get goosebumps listening to it every single time.
rap spam and grimes trash posts are all the rage now.
probably not
I pray...
Have they ever performed live? I've never seen any concert footage from them.
a friend of mine uploaded their whole discography including some rare files
dropbox.com
also my fav track is 1969 from Geogaddi
Yodder
only a few times, two of which have been recorded (not video with the exception of one supposed visual that went with a performance of 1969)
>sequoia
>old tunes vol. 1
>my wife's son went to school with the boys
mate he was doing a joke about blue oyster cult since they've got the same initials as boards of canada
oh
well fug
>favourite song
1. The Devil is in the Detail
2. Tears from the Compound Eye
3. Amo Bishop Roden
4. 1969
5. Iced Cooly
They should produce a down tempo Björk album.
Bump
How'd he find all this stuff?
my personal favorite song is reach for the dead, but geogaddi is my favorite album
NEXT EP/LP WHEN
Wish i could get a hold of this somehow.
Pete standing alone
MhtRtC
This is the only correct choice
See this
Do you guys think they can still release something great this late in their career?
>tfw will never known if these tracks are real or fake

New Clear Dawn?
I just can't see why someone else would make tracks like these, absolutely beautiful pieces, and then upload them as rare unreleased content from another band.
I just don't see it.
i actually did think this was a blue oyster cult thread tbqh
but i'll take the boards of canada suggestions too since i'm totally unfamiliar with them

maybe they are legit
Wasn't that the album rumor from pre tomorrows harvest?
What do you mean this late? Autechre has released 12 studio albums over the past 23. Even if BoC release an old remastered track collection, I'll count on it being good.
Pretty sure now this isn't anything new. Pic related.
Well thats disappointing. Guess I'll wait for Old tunes/R35TT/Boc Maxima remaster.
Let's take a moment to appreciate how amazing the Nevermen remix turned out to be.
It's sublime and quickly joined the ranks of my fave remixes.
fuck yes.
this song and Transcanada Highway got me into BoC
I didn't know about these. Thanks!
Did Boards of Canada invent vaporwave?
