if you said something like "I think his songwriting is predictable and doesn't really evolve, whether during individual songs or entire albums" or "I find it difficult to relate to the struggles of a suburban millenial" or "I don't like his lyrics, they're clumsy and try too hard to be simplistically poetic and clever at the same time"
then we'd have something to talk about
but if you just keep saying he's a talentless hack, then we really have nothing to do but disagree with each other and leave it at that, possibly with some name-calling thrown in if either of us is feeling inflammatory
