Dadrock aside, the first three tracks on this are an absolute masterpiece.

agreed
My favorite Zeppelin album is I but I feel like HOTH should be more appreciated on here. It's their most forward thinking and has no blues standards so the "mug jenerik rawk geetar" and "muh playjureezum!!!!" fags shouldn't really have anything to complain about.
No Quarter is also amazing, and The Ocean is pretty fun.
dadrock doesn't necessarily mean bad, my dude.
The "The Crunge/Dancing Days/D'yer Mak'er" sequence is pretty bad, but the other songs are some of the finest they ever made.
Damn right cocksucka
I really liked D'yer Mak'er, it felt kind of reggaey
As soon as the guitar comes into The Crunge, I immediately skip. They should have called it The Cringe
What y'all talkin bout? The Crunge is fantastic. Bonham at his best on that track.
Physical Graffiti is much better.
I often think Led Zep is the best band of all time. I simply have a hard time finding equally satisfying band with members of such talent, chemistry and with music that explores things I feel the same way about.
Best thing is, this isn't my genre, but I enjoy the intimate nature of their songs if that makes sense, they nailed that proper portrayal of manhood somehow and not in some adolescent infantile way like most bands would do. Beatles counterpart of this would be the first half of Abbey Road for example. Needless to say, their individual talents and artistic work is near flawless for the first 4-5 records, it dropped later but not terribly.
Best bits:
Achilles Last Stand
Since I've Been Loving You
In My Time of Dying
those three are my favorite I think
The Song Remains The Same
Hey Hey What Can I Do
and really many others, including the well known songs such as Dazed and Confused and Black Dog
Led Zeppelin fuckin sucks. I will never get why this band is so popular. Most boring hard rock band I've ever seen. The only album I like by them is their debut and its 7/10 being generous.
baby
baby
Boogie With Stu is my jam
Nice choices, I'd also include Babe I'm Gonna Leave You, No Quarter, The Ocean, and (as overplayed as it is) Kashmir.
People who hate LZ are just people who listen to music for the image, and can't separate the music from the cringey kids from high school who worshiped them.
orr we dislike their mediocre music
I don't understand how anyone can hate LZ while knowing them so I simply conclude they didn't give it a try. They should at least appreciate clearly good band. They perfected the genre and showed what it could be. Just four guys jamming without bullshit and making such art
I mean, obviously if you wanna say that a band like Led Zeppelin recorded nothing above a 7/10 and that they fucking suck, you would need a stronger argument than "they're boring and i don't get them". cause otherwise, this can be dismissed as poor bait.
Was the second album i ever liked in my life. Over the hills and far away makes me happy. The ocean was the song that inspired me to learn guitar.
I think it is more accesible than LZ I-IV, at least for a person like me that all my life had been listening pop-rock.
Well, yeah, it's their greatest album
rain song i kinda boring imo, but the rest is amazing
10 years gone was the same song but much better
kinda wish that houses was on houses, as its my favorite zepplin song and its kinda weird that its not, but i guess it just makes Physical Graffiti better
