I'm not sure if I want to do even more complex material or just make some more ambient things
I've been waiting for the next album with great anticipation. Listened to (and loved) Faction of Deer a lot last year, can't wait to hear the new one.

I just released a new album of blackened noise, and I think it came out pretty well. I use a lot of repetitive screeching synthesizers so if that throws you off on one track maybe just skip around to see if you like some of the other ones. Anyway I hope you like it, thanks for checking it out
I haven't heard this ep yet. I think it's some of my favorite stuff from you yet. I think you incorporate a lot of odd sounds that one doesn't really hear much elsewhere, or at least I haven't. Keep it up!

just letting you guys know, new album might not happen by septmeber 1st. i've been waiting on some vocals since forever and my biggest song isn't going anywhere at the moment without vocals or lyrics. also i feel like the last two songs won't really fit in the album or won't be enjoyed as much because of how different they are.

rec'ing da bois
LMAO forgot to rec.
The trick to albums is to finish it (or at least all of the writing, recording, and mixing) and *then* announce a release date. Otherwise, that's a lot of pressure you're putting on yourself and that can have negative effects for you, your product, expectations you have for yourself, and expectations fans have of you.
My advice is to work at your own pace and let things come naturally.
-Much love from a friendo and a fan
thanks, i'll just remove the release date from the album. when i set that date i was two months from it and was only missing one song to finish so it seemed reasonable
An album I planned to take a month or two ended up taking six to seven. I thought I was done a handful of times. Just let the ball roll and it'll be done rolling whenever it feels like it.
If you link me a hip-hop/rap tape I'll listen to it and tell you what I think and maybe download it and might buy it.
Preferably with rapping, not just a beat tape but whatever.
Thank you in advance

I can't speak spanish so I can't speak on most of the lyrics but the rapper's breath control is awful. The sound of him inhaling when he has to is very sharp and made me wince.
He also felt like he was speaking from the back of his throat which gave it a very forced sound, but that may just be how Venezuelan Spanish sounds.
The beat was okay.

Instrumentals were a bit 2psychedelic4me, but I like your voice.
I listened to your new EP. I like your production. The smooth instrumental contrast with snappy beats was nice, but I honestly wasn't too crazy about Alice's vocals. They weren't bad, they just felt like they were doing their own thing with your stuff in the background.

Description:
Tragedy and viscera, established vicariously through slow, warm, looping and warping drones, glitches, bursts of noise, stinging synths and overwhelmingly profound levels of volume. In the ever expanding thirty eight minutes that creates this single track, Jorge embodies the strong foundations of these beliefs in what is Fauxiliary.
Now available for stream and download!
Support, scrobble, or review on RYM. Any feedback of any kind would be greatly appreciated. And give Jorge some love. Thank You. :)

rly good, I think I compared it to american analog set and that def still holds imo.
very anco, not exactly my bag but its well done, nonetheless.
super chill. V pleasurable to listen to, if a maybe a tad underwhelming. But it's not like I can ask for a lot of ear-catching passages when you're going for post-rock and ambient. Def something I would watch live.
yeah quite often untill I release the album. then I rarely ever listen to it again.
Also, ur stuffs pretty good. not huge on the production but the ideas are solid. I liked the chorus of lay me down a lot. the speed up was kinda bizarre, though. It'd be more engaging and understandable if the speed up was accompanied by something instead of the drum machine speeding up and slowing down. That chorus is great tho. love the effect you have on your voice.
this is very good. love the atmosphere Imma listen to all of this while I surf.
>August 15th

why?
over the last year it avgs to like 190 a week
here, I generally get 50-70 if I'm consistent about plugging in these threads. If not, pretty much zero. I have about 1300 total over the course of 2 years, a chunk of which were for tracks that are now deleted, but I've had 400 in the past two months
This is me and I get about 70 plays a week, though it has been higher. My highest is 215 in one week.
Thanks dude. People have given me good feedback on Let Me Lay Down (on here and IRL) and to me it's funny because I made it really quickly and the whole track served as a vehicle to do that fucked up vocal effect. Glad you like the stuff other than the production, trying my best with limited gear.
hell yeah man, you've got potential.
Strangely enough, we share the same name.
Don't meet enough elijahs in the world, lol
Because the Baddest Beams was in Texas the 15th-17th and my booker was able to get us that event in that timeframe. If it's an inconvenience, I apologize.

Anyone in here needing an album cover drawn or a logo designed by any chance? I mainly specialise in darker metal or extreme punk stuff but, let me know if you're interested.
It would look great on a punk album.
As for me I already have tons of album covers, but not enough music to use them all.
Yeah certain track on there are more black metal than others I guess. I tried to put in frequent harsh vocals and blast beats but mostly just shoot for a generally murky kind of atmosphere. I think tracks like ariake show of that aspect more than others
I will surely listen to more. This release is so long you just can't listen to the whole thing in one sitting.
Yeahh I have this tendency to make like three hour releases. I listen to and tank inspiration from a lot of HNW so that might be where that inclination comes from. I appreciate you checking it out though, for sure.

It's like an extreme version of Dookie by Green Day.
It could work as a goofy power metal band. It's too cartoony for metal but, a little too extreme for punk.
What artwork have you made? I'd like to see.
Some are just photos I've taken on the streets. I happen to find some graffitis interesting enough to make an album of them.
Some are my friends' photos. Some are minimalistic shit. And one is actually painted by me.
The unused album covers are similar to these
Nothing too special. One day I was talking with my friend about naval and landmines, and how fucking hard it is to find and defuse the ones that are still "waiting for their victims" since the World Wars. He described these mines as if they were the spirits of evil, the souls of long dead people who are still waiting to have their revenge. He literally used the metaphor "pure hatred left behind for decades" which eventually became the title of the album.
These different works of noise just ride this thought of "possessed naval mines".
I claim it to be "conceptual" because this was my first album where I first got the album idea, and then made the music with this in mind.
Oh that's pretty cool! I like black and white photography, especially of like machinery and stuff, as like a visual aesthetic for noise. Like sea wolf leviathan or scyamine
I think I'll download the album. I might look at some of your other releases too
Thank you very much! Hope you'll enjoy my other releases too.
I'm thinking of releasing it on CD. But first I have to figure out how to print on discs and how to make proper handmade covers.
I downloaded the Csillagmetszés album as well. Yeah I've been toying with the idea of physical releases. I want to do cassettes personally
