I'm this person:
This is a beautiful song, and the title is perfect. I get mild BMSR vibes from your synth choices, but obviously this sounds much more modern and clean.
I love the darkness and atmosphere of your tracks. The fact that your track names and artist name are sort of tongue-in-cheek works as a nice foil to the overwhelming gloominess of the music.
This is not usually my favorite style of music, but your track has an undeniable clarity to it and sounds very professional, which I have to give you props for. It sounds great

very melancholy. The piano is pretty
pretty epic. the mixing is great. I love the sample
I love the drum chopping. The guitar is cool too.
I prefer to give feedback on soundcloud because its more permanent. So look for my feedback on soundcloud
I'd appreciate some feedback on this if you have the time

Pretty pleasant - like the drony female vocals

New Song, doing a lot more synths than samples like I'm used to. Think it turned out pretty well.
Uploaded in a previous thread and realized it was really quiet, so remixed and it's sounding a lot better.
Will return feedback on starcraft.
like practically nobody in this thread so far and in these threads in general gives feedback via soundcloud when they say so
where exactly on the autism spectrum are you?
I haven't gotten any feedback. Gimme some feedback and I'll return. I'm one of the posts above.
i havent posted i just listen to the links
probably off the charts
Then I can't return feedback.

I like the melodies, and the vibes your throwing. The reverb needs a little bit more restraint
beats are ok but you need a new mic man. Your flows a bit off at some points too
good chopping man
throw in a bumpin 4 on the floor beat, some saw chords and I think you got something big

My other stuff is weird synth-pop and post-rock inspired stuff with your standard hiphop beat to it. I make songs for my non-autist friends to rap to.
Leave feedback and I shall leave feedback of my own. I also have a pretty solid noise field recording for anyone interested.

Im following you too! Good job boys.

>mostly small electronic pieces with some drones mixed in
You're trying to sound heavy, but I'm not gonna hold back here, way too much clipping.
I like "Blazar" the most. Not sure why but I just can't fuck with sequenced melodies, I have to hand draw them.
Using this to fry bacon to because I don't have a dog [followed]
Drums are kinda flat. Are those your vocals?

I return feedback on SC in excess and here sometimes, also welcome it myself, make that stupid bell light up and I'll love you long time.
Very unique take on the genre, sounds like a fight against unholy viruses.
One of my favorite hip hop dudes. Slow phat beats.
I vote for the calmer ambient, Purple drops was fucking tasty. Really damn good atmosphere on your tracks dude. Following.
Love me some euro trance, shame it doesn't seem as prevalent as it used to.
Damn that's good, haven't heard too many banjo tracks here but this sounded great!
This guy makes some funky fresh rhymes, not too much into rap myself but I dig his work.
You have a great voice dude, clear and pleasant to listen to. Surprised I hadn't listened to you yet.
Tune made me sadface a bit, but in a good way. Sounds great and the piano sounded lovely.
Has great beats a bit on the darker side, also a cool dude that doesn't afraid of anything.
Think I'm feedbacked out for now, gotta eat something and go stretch a bit. Good stuff tonight, if I haven't gotten to you be patient, I'll get to everyone eventually as I tend to listen to a sampler platter from each profile.
multi-genre
This is the first serious song I've ever made. G-go easy on me, g-guys.
I don't know if this was supposed to be funny but this was hilarious.
Yeah this is good.
Both funny and sad and retarded all in one package.
Or my life, in other words.

I guess it's punk or something idk.
Me and my friend made this but no drums yet. Pls critique.
Mark, i am publicly asking you for help...
constructive input is appreciated, or just whatever
thanks
Check out my latest track!

>hip-hop/trap
>appreciate feedback
just listened to this.
i like the style and the bass line, you have a lot of opportunity to work off of it since its not all over the place. The lead guitar part, it sounded cool too, if I would change anything it may be to clean that up a bit, like, edit it so that we dont hear them prepping before playing, and maybe try that song again but let the guitar part explore some higher notes? over all it sounded cool, would only suggest some cleaning up, unless you want to keep that in for style, and also some more experimentation with this song. Keep it up!
this one is pretty mellow, chill. kind of got a drone thing going on, it sounds nice, would be great in a video game, or small film. I would look forward to some expansion on this, like adding in more musical ideas to the mix, that would be my suggestion. maybe a key change or something to spice it up? up to you user, nice job
soundcloud.com
>folk bounce
>mellow
>simple
Thanks user, it's actually a remix of the forest temple theme from Ocarina od Time, so it was kind of in a video game before I made that abomination
ED, with your drums, or beat, if you could maybe make it a bit more pronounced or fuller, that would be awesome. You set up a good intro and that's great for keeping the listener engaged. You are really good at introducing voices, I would challenge you to make your pieces go somewhere. by that i mean, take us somewhere in the middle of the piece. you know how to open and close a work, yet in the middle, i'm waiting for something to move me or explore different sounds/ styles however you stick to mainly 1 or 2 grooves which sound good, you do a great job at it, but after a while it starts to get a bit too repetitive and i slowly start to lose interest till you begin to wrap things up, then im all ears again. over all, good work, mix up the beats and the melody lines, and remember you dont have to fill up the song with lots of stuff, maybe shave away some beats, and add some elements of harmony to your songs, and play with the melody/harmony some more and you will be kicking butt and taking names
no problem user, i knew it had some clips taken out of the game, but i think it could kind of work as a stand alone for another game.
thanks for the input I appreciate it. And it's mostly rough around the edges cause it isn't done. thanks though.
So, Mr. Cats, would you say it wouldn't be a bad idea for me to consider composing music for a video game?
no problem, i know you mentioned you didnt have drums in there, i liked it without drums, would not add them, it sounds good as it is with just the melody and harmony,
well, i have a friend who has done some composing for games, you'll need to know about the game and the style that is portrays. i think in the future that is a possibility, maybe for some indi games. Would def. suggest pushing your comfort limit and exploring new mediums and genres. you have a good start, but dont stop challenging yourself. the moment you do youll be stagnant, explore and be creative. hayden was one of the most important classical music composers of all time, and he was isolated, and forced to be creative, and this proved to be a great challenge for him, so dont get comfortable! challenge yourself
Hmm. Interesting. This gave me an idea.

I appreciate all feedback.
also this is ambient, guess i should have noted that
i would suggest listening to icefall by nobukazu
i think that he is more up your alley. this was pretty in your face and grungy. maybe would use a flanger on your drums, and maybe less scratchy. so that way we can get a clearer idea, i know that its in the style but having that through out nearly the entire piece is a bit much, i totally hear the harsh noise that you mentioned ha. It is almost too harsh at least for me and i like things like ben frost and tim hecker. anyways, thanks for sharing user, was interesting
anybody up..

every fucking thread
but yeah I'm here
cool, things were oddly quiet
