>Dream-Pop
>Shoegaze
>Psychedelic
>Experimental, Various Genres
>New Release
>Jorge
>Fauxiliary
>Ontario, Canada, Ambient, Drone, Harsh Noise, Harshnoise, Noise, Vapornoise, Vaporwave.
Description:
Tragedy and viscera, established vicariously through slow, warm, looping and warping drones, glitches, bursts of noise, stinging synths and overwhelmingly profound levels of volume. In the ever expanding thirty eight minutes that creates this single track, Jorge embodies the strong foundations of these beliefs in what is Fauxiliary.
Now available for stream and download!
Support, scrobble, or review on RYM. Any feedback of any kind would be greatly appreciated. And give Jorge some love. Thank You. :)
Will still be accepting submissions for the label.
Also, to anyone in the Houston area, Even Oxen, The Baddest Beams, and I will be playing August 15th at the White Swan. Hope to see some supporters there.

This was recorded yesterday afternoon. Just put it on BC about ten minutes ago. The cover art is one of my own paintings. Any and all feedback (no pun intended) is appreciated, as always. Download it and share it with your friends if you want to. Thanks a ton.
Fuck, the cover got flipped around again. I guess it really doesn't matter which way you look at it, it's still the same painting. My bad. The file looks just right until I post it somewhere, and then it gets flipped one way or the other. Oh well, I guess.
My EP:
>bedroom pop
>bedroom folk
I'd recommend cutting down some material and putting together an EP, there seems to be some filler. But of your good songs, they definitely have something. Your voice has a lot of potential.
I like your guitar playing, and your lyrics are really great. There was that line about love at 3 AM, I can't recite it ver batim, but it was one of those lines that sorta gives you chills when you hear it. I'd say your voice is a little harsh that song, but it could just be it isn't right for that one song, or maybe just personal taste. Either way, definitely keep it up.

Have a good weekend!
that album cover a pic in LA? hit me up next time you're on the coast dave
There's gotta be someone here who likes Post Rock/Metal and Shoegaze. Can anyone give me some criticism? You scratch my back, I'll scratch yours.
I usually don't care for bandcamp ambient projects but I enjoyed this a lot, it has enough going on in it to keep it interesting. Great cover art also.
100 Days Later is fantastic! The only criticism I can think of is that it might be a bit repetitive, but it certainly didn't keep me from enjoying it. Vivid Abstracts is also great, I love a good drone and I'm always happy to see organs show up in modern music. Keep it up.
Didn't think I was going to be into this, I'm always wary of "dream pop" tags, but I enjoyed it a lot. I'll be sure to check out the rest of your discog.
Not into drone, but I enjoyed this well enough, it wasn't ear-piercing but actually rather soothing. I'll admit I didn't listen to the full 38 minutes, but I probably will at some point.
This is really cool, fairly unique stuff. I would use the word "transcendental" to describe it. I loved "Diving Bell" and "Barney Beats His Wife." I'm definitely going to check out the rest of your discog, keep it up man.
Was expecting typical post-metal fare, got something much different. I really enjoyed "Wormwood" and the first track.
Good hard rock stuff. It's strange how uncommon it is to find more regular sounding rock in threads like these, I'll definitely check out the album when it drops completely.
Ill check your stuff out in awhile. Busy rn, tho
Chill bro, I got you.
I really like the way you mixed your instruments on Track 7, it's easy to hear the guitars, bass, and drums all at the same time, and I always appreciate that. I enjoyed the buildup and climax of that song a lot, you should focus more on that kind of stuff. I didn't enjoy Track 1 nearly as much, it seemed too "shoegazey" and cliche to me, although I wouldn't say it was bad, just nondescript, maybe. If you keep going in your new direction you'll make great stuff.
Scratch me:
Thanks senpai! Really appreciate your comment on my shitty music! Did I ever send you any feedback, like, ever? If not - show me your BC

>Really enjoyed Encoded Within The Grain.
Thanks man, I'm fond of that song as well.
JANK has been really tearing it up in the Philly DIY scene. They have a range of genres/subgenres involving the words punk, awkward pop, and weed. It's been really enjoyable listening to them. They're secretly pretty comedic and the guitar work is so cash.
why is philly's scene so good?
How many of you guys play shows? Any advice on how to get started on that?
bar type venues or whatever, there is a guy who runs booking the shows you can usually contact them by phone even if you don't know a lot of people in the town. If your bandcamp page is halfway decent there is a good chance they will put you on some show because most shows need supporting acts to fill in the time frame. the good/bad news is the booking guy will probably not really listen to your music because there is not time to listen to everyone's music, it is easy to get "a show" don't expect to open up for a popular act though.
East Coast, young adult population has been on the rise, big artistic/bohemian/hipster/alternative grouping in Fishtown and Northern Liberties neighborhoods, areas previously pretty shitty had been rejuvenated, and the Philly colleges have never been more popular. This means more students and more recent grads than ever are staying and developing their own subcultures.
Philly also has a history of being a musical city. Recently, this is the scene that gave birth to Modern Baseball.
They're playing in Springfield, Missouri tonight. That's a long way from home.

Wow, dude. You make my shit look simple as hell.
I listened to Otophia off of Jamais Vu. Loved it. I love how relentlessly heavy it is. Low and slow. Definitely a sludgy vibe to it, like Crowbar mixed with Mogwai.
Your layering is great, and so is your variety of sounds. Really looking forward to hearing more, bro.
And thanks for the feedback! I need to get lyrics for Song Idea 1, I think that'd help. But I agree, I like Song Idea 7 better, without a doubt.
