He takes credit as 'primary artist' despite not programming beats or composing the music. He has a sub-par voice, but is a moderately good rapper. He just takes credit for something he didn't really do. I also do not like his lyrics, because they are often about systemic racial oppression, which does not exist in the country he lives in.

And yes it would be awesome if Terrance Martin, Thundercat, etc. got more credit for their roles in making this album what it is. Why, whenever we talk about this album, why does it always come down to a stupid conversation about race politics. That's not even what a lot of this album is about. The real emotional meat of this album, and most of the lyrical content as well, stems from the phrase "What the fuck do I do with all this money?" And at the end he realizes "I'm gonna do some good with my celebrity status and help the city and community that raised me."

I don't even understand why you're singling out Kendrick as if hardly any musicians or artists do this. By that logic, film directors are never the "primary artist" of the films they direct because they have others doing most of the work for them, despite the fact that they are the ones that more or less have complete control over what those people do.

Well, if there is no evidence behind the testimony of a criminal, then the cop cannot be charged. That is how our justice system works, and for good reason. If people were guilty until proven innocent, then all people would be in jail.
Also, one story of a cop planting evidence is anecdotal and minimal, so it is not nearly enough to prove that there is systematic racial oppression in the United States.
