Description:
Tragedy and viscera, established vicariously through slow, warm, looping and warping drones, glitches, bursts of noise, stinging synths and overwhelmingly profound levels of volume. In the ever expanding thirty eight minutes that creates this single track, Jorge embodies the strong foundations of these beliefs in what is Fauxiliary.
Now available for stream and download!
Support, scrobble, or review on RYM. Any feedback of any kind would be greatly appreciated. And give Jorge some love. Thank You. :)
Will still be accepting submissions for the label.
Also, to anyone in the Houston area, Even Oxen, The Baddest Beams, and I will be playing August 15th at the White Swan. Hope to see some supporters there.
Proud Supporter Of:
Hello I make harsh noise with some influences from other styles such as power electronics, HNW, and black metal. My latest demo is comprised of six half hour tracks of harsh noise with moments of blast beats, black metal vocals, shrill synthesizers, abrasive static, and shrieking feedback. The first track begins with a repetitive grating synthesizer passage and I think that's been turning some people off. The last half of the demo may be more appealing since I think that portion is more direct and less abrasive but that;s just my opinion. Anyway I'd love to hear what you guys think!
Friend told me to add that it was recorded in one day so don't expect wonders

How do you guys feel about getting your music onto streaming services?
soundcloud.com
this is coming out soon but here's a sneak peak
This is me, and I really want to. Right now I just don't have the money to get it up through Record Union, but when I share enough albums independently I will, absolutely.

cool kids
it's a great alternative for people to easily stream your music wherever / whenever they want, plus it's a new place people can discover you through.
try out RouteNote, they can get your music up in loads of places for free BUT only in mp3 320kbps, they take a 20%ish of what you make, and it takes about 45 days to get your pay after the month is over.
Is RouteNote what you use? I was gonna work on getting my discography on the various streaming services using that. How long does it take to process albums and is it easy to coordinate release times for bandcamp and Spotify, etc.?
yes, that's what i use. it'll take like 2-3 days to process the albums as long as you don't run into any inconveniences like they detect a sample or copyrighted material you can't use.
it's pretty simple to coordinate the release times, i recommend you wait a week or two (that's what i recall them telling me to wait so that my music would show up on every site i picked) since the times it takes to get them on different services can vary. after that, just set a release date to your album and it should pop up correctly. i've only uploaded my ep and it was like 3 months after it came out so i dont know how a future release works exactly.
by the way, it's only a 15% cut, messed up there. if you want, here's a referral code. its neat to hand these out because it lets the person who gave it to you have 2% of what you make [from RouteNote's cut, not yours of course]
How much do you make per stream? And thanks for the referral, if I end up using routenote I'll definitely use it :)
well that depends on the services you use. for example, no one has bought my music on itunes/amazon etc. but i've had about 450 streams on spotify and whatever other things i picked that i dont remember. off of june ive made a total of 84 cents so yeah, you're not gonna be rolling in lots of money but hey at least its a nice monthly delivery of pocket change
