I always knew this and I still hate that it is true. Like, it turns this interesting and hopeful line into essentially a joke.

No, it just turns it into a pretty interesting metaphor, having storms blowing over as a metaphor for a doomed relationship failing.

There's a few fortunate similarities between them but The Glow is far better.

ITAOTS is stoner pop, its messy, its a feast of cartoonish pastiche, some find it fun, but its a 2/5 album, while The Glow is dead cold serious (thus more respectable) less friendly to the masses and despite this, the album feels more alive. Its a 2.5/5 album.

I only liked the first few songs, up until the title track. That song rips through my soul. Wish it stayed as good afterwards
