Nah, I had just about given up on them after Christmas Island. Musically it sounded like they had had hit dead end. Then the name change happened and it seemed like it was all downhill from there.

This,however, sounds fresh and Small Red Boy is one of the best songs they have ever put out. They are taking new sounds and making them work rather than just burying their old sound in needless garbage. This makes me excited about AJJ again.

Just finished listening. Honestly, I think each album they put out is better than the last. Name change was dumb.

It's growing on me a lot. That climax is incredible, I just wish it was stretched out more.

It's amusing... the hypocrisy behind "jihad" being offensive to the PC police, but "the bible 2" being a-ok.

Inshallah my friend, I'm assuming you're a band member or fanboy shilling for free.

It just seemed dumb for them to announce the namechange and just made them come across as megacucks, they could've just kept going on with the abbreviation and nobody would've cared, bands have done it before.

I'll be honest, I wasn't impressed other than a couple tracks.

For the record, I don't care about any of the name change or American Tune drama or anything like that, I just think the newer kind of production style is really bland. I liked even liked Christmas Island more than most, but this isn't really doing anything for me. Don't think they're ever going to top People that Can Eat People or Can't Maintain.
