Maná
Patrician choice tbqh
Rodrigo González
Would you care to elaborate?
I have recs but you won't like them if you don't like the genre they belong to, user.
What genres do you like?
i was thinking post-hardcore, screamo and post-rock. or just rec me anything duderino.
porter, austin tv, plastilina mosh
See? Mexico is basically pop land. Maybe there are indie groups in those genres but since most people just want to drink/dance while listening to some music those genres get buried deep down.
Pop: Camila, Jesse y Joy (I don't even know if that's the spelling)
Rock: Café Tacvba
Ximena Sariñana is like rock-pop and she's pretty much waifu material

Mexican here, I present to you what is (in my opinion) the best album México has to offer:
youtube.com
As for your question, it would take too long (and you wouldn't read it) to explain the actual reason, but basically mexican culture consumism is divided in two groups that seem to have each other: on one side you have the ones who consume mostly national products which, in my personal opinion, are 99.9% pure garbage. The other group just consume international culture, this is also why there are so many anime fans in here and why they think it's the best shit ever.
all shit
yeah they acquire and sell guns from the united states
No soy yo tonto
Trash.
Molotov seems to be quite popular, it's good but I feel like foreigners overrate it.
youtube.com
I will not pretend this is specially good, but as said she's the best Sup Forums-related waifu here:
youtube.com
Bonus: you wouldn't believe this shit was made by mexicans:
youtube.com
Café tacvba isn't nor close to be mexican rock...

your taste is trash. i bet you enjoy nigger rap you uncultured plebian. how about you stop listening to your bleeps and bloobs for a few minutes and appreciate real music that comes from the soul. cafe tacvba is one the best artists to come out of mexico and they combine many different genres and experiment with them and always come out with something great. they're highly regarded by everyone inside their country and out. step out of your moms basement for once and go to a mexican eatery so you can enjoy and sample their music.
do The Mars Volta count?
Who here /Bronco/?
poor kid, I feel bad for you
this
my nigga, do you by any chance have links for austin tv? I know i should download soulseek but i just feel sketched out by it
>How can so much people be so butthurted about a third world country?

Because of USAian cultural imperialism all their music acts are whatevers is fashionable in dumbfuckistan but with a 2 years delay so everything sounds quite like dated plagiarism.
You are both plebs and you should kys immediately.
youtube.com
some heavy groovy blues, fucking chicano trash so i don't know what perception of this band and the later iteration el tri is like in mexico
found this band through a buddy who's dad, actual from the capital city mexican, has this band in his collection from the back in the day
youtube.com
mexican rap group, si senor is the more well known song but this one is closer to me
Because of our closeness to USA, try South-America, they do incredible and interesting stuff
Mexican music try Austin TV, O Tortuga, Molotov... idk, try my future band we're coming senpai
juan gabriel. writes and sings his own songs. huge hooky poppy ballads.
