She has a new approach to music making and she's more interesting as an artist. She's a post-internet musician, with a diverse taste in music. Lots of influences in her sound: Kraftwerkian synthpop, dreampop, j-pop, industrial, idm, kpop, r&b, country, classical, ambient. The layering of her music & the beats are way more complex than anything Bush achieved with her old Fairlight CMI. She benefitted from the new technology and the newer genres since the '80s.
