Not the best but you do set the tone for the rest of the thread, but here's my pick:
Joanna Newsom
Ys
HOOM
Divers
All 9-10/10 imo
You picked the right Bork trio
>not GP, The Powers That B, Bottomless Pit

I'm a bigger fan of The Times, They Are a'Changin desu
nawh, but Loveless is 10/10
lol GOAT streak
Nope
Yeah, Berlin is better
kind of agreed, but I'm not too high on Wowie Zowie
Better, actually
Or, alternatively, the two after Kid A as well.
>he thinks protest-folk Dylan is best Dylan
it's ok user. i felt like that when i was 14
>IV-HOTH-PG
>OKC-Kid A-Amnesiac
>Revolver-Sgt.-White
>Foxtrot-SEBTP-Lamb
All clearly better.
I'm 20, but Yes I do enjoy political folk music.
Phil Ochs is probably my favorite in that realm of folk tho, and Robbie Basho is my favorite folk musician in general
that's fair. but as far as dylan goes you gotta admit the quality of writing on his later 60's work is miles beyond his earlier stuff, even if you might not like it as much
Feels
Strawberry Jam
Merriweather Post Pavilion
well fuck that was easy
>Not ST>Feels>SJ
You goofed
Unknown Pleasures to Closer.
Are You Experienced?
Axis: Bold as Love
Electric Ladyland
Yes I can admit to that, even a strong amount of his 70's records carried stronger tunes, at least within the instrumentation and song structure
I just think his earlier work has a certain "energy" to it considering the state of America at the time. Those records really helped change the course of history in America for the better, and the emotion of the struggle is written in the music. That's just more of my boat when it comes to Dylan
Gold standard of three-album runs.
won't argue with that, cheers
Both Times and Another Side feel really rushed to me- like they could have been much better if they'd spent a little longer in the studio. Freewheelin' sounds much more finished.
Bone Machine
Mule Variations
Alice
Flood
Heavy Rocks
Akuma no Uta
...
Cheers m80, to Dylan

It's tough, that Talking Heads stretch is fucking great

the best streak is ST-Feels-SJ because MPP is a masterpiece and one of the best albums of all time, and it should not be compared with the rest of their albums.
