My demos from the last year

I love the general vibe of this score, always a sucker for classic synth sounds. Fits the road imagery beautifully.

Hey thanks man, I'm glad you liked it. I'm not sure I can ever top the album though.

I like your demos a lot too but it's a little hard to hear the lyrics. The drums and soaring guitars are perfect though.

I dig this, really great textures and drones. It reminds me of Stars of the Lid, but I probably enjoyed this more than I enjoy their stuff. I love that the tracks aren't super long either, very digestible.

Love the album art. What kills this is how lofi it is... if the production were more clear, you could really feel that bass, THEN it would be music to drop acid to. If this didn't sound like it was recorded on a cell phone, I would love it, because you can tell there's some great stuff here...you just can't hear it. I hope you improve on this with your next release, because you're onto something.

The airhorns made me laugh. It's not really anything unique or original, but it's a decent, solid electronic track. Keep it up.

Listened to "Winter Daydreams." I love the way the album opens, with the cold drum machine beat, giving way to the gentle vocals and ethereal guitars. I'm not usually one for "bedroom pop" but I quite enjoyed this. I'm a sucker for drum machines so that has a lot to do with it, but I also really like the vocal delivery and guitar work. It stands out from the other thousands of lofi bedroom pop projects, you can tell there's actual talent here.

Cool track, the percussion is pretty interesting and I enjoyed the little synth flourishes, although the popping noises they made when they came into the mix is irritating. Great guitar work.

Love the album art. The synthesizer sounds fit right in with the guitars. The vocals could be mixed a bit higher and maybe a bit less bassy, but they still sound fine the way they are.

I was getting hyped for this one, you did not disappoint. It doesn't sound too much different from your past work, it's more of the same, but it's still terrific stuff. Basically, "if third wave post rock was good." Highly recommend this, can't wait to listen to the whole thing through.

This is a pretty huge departure from Sky Simplified, so I'd love to get some feedback, positive or negative.

I haven't been on one of these threads in a while, I'll try and give feedback of my own to some of you.

Very unique and creative with its approach to electronic music, I can tell how it was inspired by math rock. "Cut corpse" was very interesting, love the percussion and the background machine-sounding synths. Probably one of the best, or at least most original electronic projects I've seen in these threads. Great job, man.

I'll be honest and say I don't really understand what's going on here. I didn't like all of the clipping/popping on the first track, although I enjoyed "Narcissist" a lot.

Love the album art. Not really something I'm all that interested in, but it's solid dance stuff. I like "Emotional Evergreens."

>when a reviewguy reviews everyone in the thread but you

If I didn't review you, I already gave you feedback in another thread where I gave reviews. Who are you?

I know that feel nigga

forgot to rec this one. good.

I like this. Reminds me of that Carl Crack solo album.

Sounds very PC music to me, with the newage-y minimal synthwork. Keep being you.

Also very PC, but I like the new four on the floor party angle you brought to it. I'd love to see a full album from you.

I like this more than Montreal, it's a lot more subtle. You nailed the vaporwave sound without any sampling.

this has a neat sound, but its also pretty dang samey. Almost very song has the same drum machine and the same chorused guitar playing very similar seventh and ninth chords.

The dryness of this gives it a very dated aphex twin feel. Be more liberal with effects.

If I didn't review y'all don't take it personally. This was very quick and messy. (just reading the reviews I did give is evidence enough you're not missing much)

>You nailed the vaporwave sound without any sampling

>vaporwave

Hmm, gonna have to disagree with you on that one (not Roland btw)

Amazing, kick-ass psych jamming here. The noise seems very controlled and really gives the songs some extra punch.

Super minimalist, it would almost be spooky if it weren't so darn pretty. Appropriate title too. A good album to listen to when you wake up too early.

Dang, those guitar textures are incredible. There's just so much weight to these tracks. And yeah, the sound is really unique--I can guess some influences (Earth?) but it doesn't sound quite like anything else.

I think you definitely nailed the chill vibe, this is real pretty. Field recordings are a nice touch. I don't know if I could take a whole album of just this though, more diverse instrumentation would help.

I bought your first album a while ago and liked it quite a bit. The production on this one is even better, and I think going for a darker atmosphere was a good choice. Not the most original post rock project out there, but enjoyable as hell.

For some reason I really love this. I think it's all the little things, just the small incidental sounds, especially in the first track. Looking forward to hearing more!

>lo-fi, slacker-ish, psych pop

Great grooves, love the guitar work and the synths. One of the best "psychedelic" projects I've seen on here. Creative and unique. The cover art is also terrific.

This kind of made me want to kill myself. Really weird, maybe a bit too out of the box and ironic for its own good.

I think this might be a meme, but it's actually pretty interesting. I like the Latin guitar and percussion on the first track. Ranges from genius to completely awful.

NICE COVER BRO LMAO
>tfw no one compliments your covers
Nah but for real, I like it a lot. The synths (bells?) add a lot to the guitar work, really great tone and sound. Don't care much for the vocals, wish the drums had a bit more punch to them on most of the tracks. I really liked "Origami Swan" and "Joy, Easily and Effortlessly."

Too similar to noise for my taste, if the recordings were cleaner maybe I'd like it.

I like your visual aesthetic a lot. Didn't care for "Stay 4 Ever," it was bit too repetitive for me, but I liked "My Gun Is a Needle."

Very chill, relaxing stuff. Probably not something I would listen to in my spare time but it's obviously very skillfully written and performed, nice job.

Great cover art. Pretty solid post rock stuff, but it's really not too much different from other third wave acts. I like it best when you really get into it, "All Your Insecurities" and "Writing To You, My Love" are great.

Pretty much the same criticism as above. Very solid post rock, skillfully written/performed, but not much about it stands out. I like "Don't Let Them Burn Out" and the alternate version of "Paralyzed."

I absolutely love this. Very original sounding, despite its pretty obvious influences. Love the drums on "School Tripping" and the bass on "Anxieties." Can't wait to listen to the whole thing.
