My dick

Anything you can hear and think to yourself "this is music"

If the sound of a construction site is music, then are the workers musicians?

You're living on it.

his dick

>typical avant teen mentality

something i wish i wasn't obsessed with

I think theres nothing wrong with a music obsession. Music is enjoyable way to relax

Just dont every say it saved your life like a faggot

Not that

franciscolopez.net/env.html

Its not a opinion faggot, its actually true for example recording landscapes may be music if you say someone its music, its like gender identity, you are who you chose to be - i am superman. Im a blackstar im not a wandering star and i was stressed out.

A watered down version of Pulse Demon

It's like this: Scoop Boop Bobbity Bip, Bing Bam Scrimmity Scram, Bop Balloo Bim Bwapity Boom.

Sounds played in a rhythm. This is the only true definition of music and no, the OP is definitely not music.

a stale meme

if you want to get really technical, a field recording of construction work released in album format could probably be considered music.

I've honestly been thinking of making something like that

We can't define music with words because music is bigger than language

Everything we can say about it will be wrong, we can only "define" it with metaphors

not that album

Yes, and it's 'industrial music'.

shit

That would constitute as a field recording, which although still music doesn't mean that the workers are musicians

underrated

Music is every sound (or silence) intentionally maked by the musician, or at least that's my definition, still i can see why people think that stuff like 4' 33" isn't music.

>What is music?
An organized collection of sounds.

but what about constantly changing rhythms?
if you need a rhythm to define music, how strictly are you defining a rhythm

if two sounds are played with 2 hours of silence in the middle, that's still a rhythm. even though the music would be mostly silence

also, rests and lack of sound are a big part of music, so does it stop being music when it isn't making a noise? or is the rests between notes and silence also music?

Sounds created with the intent to be music

It doesn't have to be organized to be music

Only right answers

It absolutely, positively must be organized in some fashion in order for it to be anything more than just noise.

Where the true debate lies is in whether that sense of organization needs to be perceivable in the minds of anyone other than the listeners for it to be considered music.
