That's what makes it great though, lad. It's a big, sprawling mess with no cohesion between the members or the song types, and they tried so many genres on it. Even though there are failed experiments/pisstakes on it like Revolution 9 and Wild Honey Pie, part of the experience of listening to the White Album is the absurd self indulgence and the way they all thought their farts sounded great. The context behind the album makes it fascinating to me. I wouldn't change anything about the album because shit like Revolution 9 is what makes it what it is.
The best Beatles record is still Revolver though.
