This is a pretty huge departure from Sky Simplified, so I'd love to get some feedback, positive or negative.
I haven't been on one of these threads in a while, I'll try and give feedback of my own to some of you.

Oh hey you finished this. So far I like it way way more than City Lights, it sounds much less cheesy and more subtle. Glad you ditched the piano. I'll give this a full listen soon.
1) I finished this a month ago lol.
2) You can thank the lack of piano to a friend who pushed me to ditch that piano sound.
3) Downloaded your new album, will give it a listen soon :)

Will return all feedback!
This is pretty cool. Reminds me of Gas.
Pretty fun. I like how it almost has a live sound to it, the filters give it a real sense of place. Not a big fan of the cover though.

rec. Your music is more than just funny. Keep at it.
Not really my genre, but very nice to listen to. Reminds me of Brave Little Abacus.
Brave Little Abacus? Never heard of that, will have to check it out
>Glitch, IDM, Ambient, Breakcore
This is pretty cool. "the riverside" reminds me of me at a time, actually. Cool stuff.
I've been meaning to grab this. It's really awesome. I'm really curious as to how you found that high of quality of speech synthesizer. Unmade Bed is great. Those saws are so rich and the vocoded synth whatever it is compliments it greatly.
Finally getting around to this. So awesome. I dig most of the drumming on the first track. You could definitley ease off of it, go for something groovy and laidback and still fit into a psychedelic atmosphere, but the drumming you have is there because it fits its purpose as a mood setter and that's all cool.
Absolutely wonderful stuff man.
I remember hoping that you'd guys roll through lower NY, but I don't remember much of your work. I listened to Hands of Nebraska because I lived in NE for like half of my life and it's so groovy. Good luck on tour!
You never fail to amaze with your music. Your art is pretty stellar. Everything about the opener is on point. The second track is also wonderfully mellow and a joy to listen to. Once I scrape up enough money to feel comfortable spending, I'll be picking up a copy. Amazing work.

New release: windowlistener.bandcamp.com
>Experimental electronic + other genres
Update: currently no plans of releasing anything for a while. Made some stuff this month (softer experimental stuff, can't explain in words but it's ""synthy"" in some ways)
Thats not a speech synthesizer thats my friend
(Vocoded, maybe) sample with high-resonance filters? It sounds really cool, whatever it is.
Oh i thought you were talking about the voice at the beginning of the album. Yes the voice on Unmade Bed is a vocoder

We actually recently got back from our tour with barlow* haha. The come see us remark was just regarding overall, but we do have a good amount of shows coming up (Pittsburgh, Buffalo, around there). Tour was a great time, lots of experience gained. But What do you mean lower new york? We've played all over New York. But I'm super glad you dig Hands! Have you heard the album?
Thanks man! I really liked Sky Simplified. The new one has a cool general vibe, but I think a few of the tracks sound a little thin. More layers would do them some good. Anthem For Cleaners is dope though.
New rekkerd is exactly the impeccably composed math rock I expected. Reminds me of 1st-wave post rock stuff a little bit. Everyone in these threads knows your stuff is amazing by now, I think.
Thanks man! Reviewed you last thread but anyone who wants some bleary-eyed, early morning ambient music should check this out for sure.
Oh shit, didn't even notice you guys were from NY. If you come to NYC I'll be there for sure!

I haven't heard all of it yet, but I remember looking at your poster on your fb page and not seeing anything that i'd be able to catch. I'm in Orange County currently.

Yeah we didnt really come too close to that, maybe another time! Cool you like us on FB though :) And If you like hands you'll some other stuff on it to. Especially "If God One Day Struck Me Blind". Its similar but more groovy/sensual. That song is my fav from the album, That one sounds great on the cassettes
Yeah man, Buffalo area though. So about 6 or 7 hours from nyc though. but we did recently play in long island and we might go to the city to play a show at a place called arlene grocery(?)
O.K.! Thanks for listening :)
