The climax to Sleep

youtube.com/watch?v=Oxe5SoYgFbs

*dun-dun DUN DUN*
>SHIIIIIINE ON

JE T'AIME THE VALLEY! JE T'AIME THE VALLEY, OOOOOOOOH!

Synth sample in Idioteque.

>can you believe god makes you breath?
>how did he lose 6 million jews?

It is a beautiful moment, don't let anyone else tell you otherwise.

For me it's in Tightrope when it goes:
>Too scared to look down through my fingers
>Walking a tight rope, with you.

when the strings come in on Dead Flag Blues
around 5:22
chills up my spine every time

When the drums kick in on Honeybaby

>Funeral, Bastard and The Death Of Music

1337/10

I can't be the only one, right guys?

>EVERYTHING GOT QUIET SUDDENLY; NO DOLBY
>AND THE THEATRE ROOM IS EMPTY
>FILM IS FLAPPING AT THE SIDE OF THE PROJECTOR

I prefer Life and Seventh Wave

Entire album is god-tier desu, maybe his best work

Alright 2/3 satan, where does one start with free jazz?

>BOYY SOPRANOOO
>take me away from here

>"I'm gonna taaake it with meee wheeen I gooo"

When the drums hit on Storm

>YANKEE
>HOTEL
>FOXTROT

This so much, its beautiful IMO.

Basically all of No Tomorrow is GOAT

This so much AND

>The intro to Heavy Metal Drummer in Ashes
>The guitar opening in I am the man who loves you
>The piano drop in I am trying to break your heart
>I"VE GOT RESERVATIONSSSSSSSSS
>Jeff's voice

10/10 album really. I don't care if its p4k core.

The piano in Darks Deck

>pitch bent guitar solo on nothing ever happens

>tjúúú

or

>the flute phrase on Olsen Olsen

I don't love it so much desu.
Reservations is a shit closer imho, most times i just end the album with Poor Places.

NOW EVERYTHINGS RUINED, HEYEEEY

>not all of viorar

Also one of my 10/10 albums and potentially my favorite album of all time. I can only listen to it in the winter though. I visited Grand Rapids and bought it at Vertigo Music on vinyl and traveled back down south in a snow storm and it was literally the perfect atmosphere for the album.

The voice break on Perfect Day

YES

>OH MY GODDAMN

Trout Mask Replica

When the album ends

Listening to that song on acid was incredible. Just the overwhelming dread and then the strings pulled me out. Unbelievable

>SHE TOOK ME HIGH
>THEN SHE TOOK ME HOME
>PILOT JONES PILOT JONES

>I'm not HEEEeeeEEERE
>the buildup leading to the climax of JLH Outro
this
>juuuuuuuuuuuuust
>dooooooooo't leeeeeeeaaave
this
this
the guitar solo at the end of Pyramids

YOU KNOW, YOU KNOW WHERE YOU ARE
YOU KNOW, YOU KNOW WHERE YOU ARE
FLOOR COLLAPSING, FALLINGGGGGG
BOUNCING BACK AND ONEEEEE DAYYYYYYYYY

More like 12/10 moment in music

>ARROWHEADS ARROWHEADS ARROWHEADS ARROWHEADS

>SEND ME BACK IN TIME I'LL PUT US BACK IN LINE JUST TELL ME WHOSE MOTHER I HAVE TO KILL

>I DON'T LOOOOVE I DON'T FEEL AAAAAAAAAANYTHING WHERE THIS LOVE SHOULD BEEEEEEEEE

>AAAAN ARMY OF THE GOLEEEEEEEMS STAAAAAAAAAALKING NOW THE HEARTS LANDS

10:18 of Storm and last few minutes of Sleep as well as drums kicking in Antennas to Heaven

> the synth solo and vingette at the end of Left Side Drive
10/10 cannot be topped

Best song on the album

When the beat of the second part of Pyramids starts.
>she's working at the pyramids tonight

When the distortion kicks in on Don, Aman

yes

my dude

This.

UNOS DOS TRES CATORCE

beautiful desu

Best moment in music.

ICE AGE COMIN ICE AGE COMIN

*piano clanks on I Am Trying to Break Your Heart*

The entire intro to Glass Eyes

Definitely agreeing with the flutes.

Yeah this.

>pic related
There's at least 3:
The chorus of Well and the Lighthouse
Regine's bridge in Antichrist Television Blues
The outro of No Cars Go.

>I will seeeeeee yooou

>IN THE NEEEEEEEEEEXT LIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIFE

the beat goes round and round
THE BEAT GOES ROOOUND AND ROUND

>YOU THINK YOU'RE GOD BECAUSE YOU WEAR A ROBE AND YOU CAN PUT SOMEONE UP THE GODDAMN RIVER FOR 20 YEARS?

This album is littered with 10/10 moments, but there's none I would truly consider 11/10.

>I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT
>You'll pay for what your dirty mind is thiiiiiii-iiinkin'
>Your eyes. They tell me.
>IT'S ALL WRONG. IT'S ALRIGHT.
>Denial. Denial.
>COME ON AND LET IT OUT. COME ON AND LET IT OUT.

>the steel drums in The Gleam Pt. 2

Andre 3000s verse on Solo Reprise

you'll enjoy this then youtube.com/watch?v=ZeI0PXj7LIw

also, moon shaped pool is one of their best albums. Especially the 1st and 3rd track

>the string climax on clowne towne

what song is that on?

THIS

Also the entirety of Map

The last half of helpless child

This, and

>I MISS YOU

>WELL YOU'RE NOT

UNGH those fucking synths FUCK

also
>STEP IIIIIINNNNNSIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIDE

No matter what I get choked up at that part. How can something sound so sad and hopeful at the same time.

I could listen to that section all day long, i just want to live in that groove

>fart

>I REMEMBER THE METAL BAR
>I REMEMBER THE RESERVOIR
>YOU COULD SAY OUR PATHS HAVE CROSSED BEFOREEEEEEEEEEE

>The ones you light your fires
>to keep AWAAAYYY

>Can you
>Guide me
>Cause you're so strong
>Cause I can't see nothing at all
>Cause my eyes are burning like the sun
>Burning like the sun
>Burning like the sun

The drum break on The Cinema Show
youtu.be/G501Ii0X0NE
>5:55

Fucking pig gets shot, 100 men go search for me.
My brother get popped don't no one hear the sound.
Don't no one hear the rounds.

>11/10 music moments
>national anthem

The end of Twilight at Carbon Lake gets me every time.

>the organ suddenly gets softer in the middle of 'Moon Age'
I've had that track on repeat for 20 minutes and I don't think it'll ever get old, fantastic opener.

>PDA outro
>nothing to saaaaaaaaaay
>nothing to dooooooooooo
>all of the second half of The New

>when the bass drum kicks in Table Tennis

>I said she puts the weights into my little heart
>She packs it away
And
>Stella I love you, Stella I love you, STELLA I LOVE YOUUUU

this.

>When the Full House theme comes on straight out of nowhere

Teeth Like God's Shoeshine, about the 5:10 mark

>EVERYTHING IS CHANGING AND THERES NOTHING I CAN DO

>pluto

OR DO YOU NOT THINK SO FAAAAR
AHEEEEEAAAAD

Fucking this, and the first time hearing the riff to Mind Mischief

THE STRINGSSSSSSSSSSSSSS
>Tonight I lay her in the.........

>The neighbourhood
>Is going apeshit crazy
>AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

>Couldn't make him love me
>Couldn't make him
>No
>(no)
>WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

Nude at 2:25

This album is so full of 11/10's
>that synth sitar riff in I Know What I Like
>The whole keyboard solo of Cinema show
>The groove in Dancing..../Aisle of Plenty
>The Sands Of Time were eroded by The River Of Constant Change
>All the harmonies in More Fool Me

More like right at 2:49 where the filter on the drums comes to blinding build and the feeling of rejection just washes straight over you

My 11/10 musical moment is this.
youtube.com/watch?v=8Wn5eTrVVpc
Right at 8:58 the emotion just swells out of me

I could fall asleep at night as a Rock & Roll starararar~

I guess the natural starting points are The Shape of Jazz to Come and A Love Supreme. If you enjoy that and want something crazier you can explore their more advanced Free Jazz albums

The climax of Ascension Day

And the whole album tbqh

Videotape 11/10

>the most perfect day I've ever seen

Ornette Coleman, "Street Woman", doublebass section and trumpet solo.
