FILL OUT WHAT YOU'VE LISTENED TO

last time we had this thread it was pretty fun.
color in what you have listened to from the Sup Forums essentials chart.

...

All of them

Stop treating music like collectible cards shit

come on man, why do you people need to have a negative opinion about everything? Just have fun holy shit

What should I listen to next?

the krautrock stuff and the bowie stuff

depends, what did you particularly like?

not much desu

the other sonic youth records

I've been doing this shit for a long time, for some reason my interests always get pulled elsewhere. I really need to give them a chance.
I try to keep an open mind... The only thing I really haven't absorbed myself in are the jazz albums. They're ok but they don't do anything for me emotionally. I'm sure that makes me a huge pleb.

NO
ok I'll make it give me a minute

yay

Giles corey

I missed Ready to Die

...

u should finish the Sup Forums core stuff. MBDTF is a really fun album, after that just listen to close to the edge and rolling stones

from this list id instinctively recc homogenic, siamese dream, lonerism, if you're feeling sinister and some of the bowie (theyre probably my favourites that you havent listened to)

given it looks like you like hip hop id also say slick rick, doggystyle and the blueprint are great albums

bitches brew is probably my favourite of the jazz records there, so if you want to give jazz another go you could try that

and it looks like (correct me if im wrong) youre not massively into metal either, in which case id say powerslave is a good getting into metal album

if you can see it, I haven't listened
some of them I have downloaded and will listen eventually
Oxygene is a must if you like Tangerine Dream

7/11 from Sup Forumscore, bout 2/3 of sub, 3/4 of classics + Paranoid.

Thank you for the detailed recs

I know, I'm a fag for not uploading the image. I crossed them with dark blue at first, then I realized I'm a retard because I couldn't see shit.

Listen to MPP, Spiritualized, interpol, Madvilliany, and feedbacker

it's lookin pretty scattered

listen to Music has the right to children and close to the edge, also some of the krautrock

Listen to the Kinks, Dead Kennedys, Interpol, Spirtualized, The Who, Bruce Springsteen, The Clash, In Rainbows, Weezer and PiL

Also, from metal, I am huge into Opeth... I love Blackwater Park, Still Life, My Arms, Your Hearse and enjoy the rest. I've enjoyed other bands as well. But haven't listened to what you mentioned.

I've actually heard Music has the Right To Children, just missed marking it. I'll definitely get into the essential krautrock stuff though

what should I listen to next?

all metal

idk man, I don't like noise pop and I can only stand a few rap tracks before getting tired of it
you might like all the first 2 rows in the bleep section
and herbie hancock if you like fusion
he played in bitches brew

Idk man, Electric Wizard or Kyuss for the sludgy stoner metal, Megadeth, Bathory, or Slayer for the thashy stuff, or Deafheaven, Ulver, Burzum or Dissection for the atmospheric black metal. Can't go wrong with the classics like Black Sabbath or Iron Maiden either

k, I'll give them a try

The only album on their is MBDTF, which I tried and didn't like, it didn't warrant a full listen to me

after holding off those Sup Forumscore albums for so long I'm pretty sure I'm never gonna listen to them

Desertshore is pretty great desu

wew

There you go

what do i use to color this on a macbook\

I haven't been here long, and I plan on listening to quite a lot more. I definitely need to branch out to more genres then just rock.

ACID BATH

Haven't been avoiding it, i just haven't listened to it yet

siamese dream and disintegration are lovely albums, worth checking out

What are your thoughts on the albums you've listened to so far?

...

definitely getz/gilberto

ram

homogenic is a masterpiece tbqh

check this out the downward spiral and boredoms

Remain in Light is definitely my favorite Sup Forumscore album. I loved ITCOCK but all other prog rock albums I have tried listening to haven't been nearly as good as it. I really enjoyed Deathconsciousness, which I thought was strange because Loveless is the only Sup Forumscore album I disliked. I enjoyed folk music before I browsed Sup Forums so I've been listening to Illonoise, ITAOTS, and The Glow pt. 2 a lot. TMR makes me want to listen to more out there experimental music but I don't know where to start. I consider Hospice 10/10

Thats good man.

What's next?

I'm going to try listening to the albums in the hip-hop section and hitting the three Beatles albums. After that, I might just try listening to more post-punk or prog albums. And I might try listening to more shoegaze.
