Meth and mountains

Mountains in the west, rolling hills and buttes in the rest. Horses, fly fishing, open sky.

Takes most of a day to drive across it.

white

How white?

90%.

The state has less than a million people in it. It's really, really empty.

Do the Native Americans cause any problems?

Fuckin cold in the winter

it's fantastic

other than the lack of rain, the weather is perfect. it's never humid, so even though it gets warm with it's regular clear sunny skies it's never uncomfortable

absolutely amazing landscape

nice cozy towns (minus the few derelict shitholes of course)

I always have a tough time coming home after visiting family out there.

>Montana has been this close to me the entire time

What the FUCK

I completely forgot it was there

Not unless you go onto the reservations, if you do you enter at your own risk.

Didn't some Turk from Germany get shot for going into someone garage in Montana?

It's glorious

I have to uncles that live there

One lives in a cabin the mountains in the wilderness of the forests with his wife and the other owns a large plot in the lands right under the mountains. The bitterroot mountains, it's the most beautiful places I've ever been to, or one of them

What state do you live in now?

Just checked and this is the shooter and his wife with their kid. Guy got 70 years sentence for removing kebab.

two, I'm a little drunk. Sorry if it's incoherent OP. It's good if you want an independent life

Remember when Montana had "Reasonable and Prudent" as the daytime speed limit?

I remember cruising out of Bozeman doing 110mph on my 1100 motorcycle when a MT state cop cruised past me and waved.

It's what - 80mph now?

>tfw I will never own a comfy cabin in Montana

I've always lived in south dakota/minnesota. I just have family members out in helena

What about the castle doctrine?

The original Tiny House Hunter

It didn't apply, because the home owner baited the victim into his garage.

Well, then, he deserves to go to jail. That's just murder, Turk or not.

Empty, most people have nothing to do but risky outdoor stuff and hard drugs.

When I visited Montana it was extremely beautiful. I want to move there one day so I can escape from the objectively worst state that I live in

No jobs?

...

for it to be murder it has to be a human

Montana has the death penalty, but hasn't executed anyone (I don't think) since the modern age of it since 1976. That being said, IDK if this particular case is technically murder.

Great Plains confirmed for best region other than New England.

what's up with RI

Not like anything
stay the fuck out desu

Deindustrialization, I guess. I've heard it has many blue collar people like Peter Griffin.

My cousin works there with the Conservation Corps. I was looking through his Facebook photos the other day and Montana looks beautiful. Big mountains in the west, wide streams and rivers, and amazing fishing.

He fights forest fires for part of the year.

Want to go out that way at some point.

This neighborhood gives me the best vibes. Looks comfy as shit.
