>Gallinas

Pumas is already in the semi finals pretty much.

>tfw Toluca fan

They were the best team last season

>inb4 Tigres, refball and CHI

>Nashville fans singing along to a Bay Area band

Kek sharks to win

>Tigres
>second place in the libertadores
>struggling to make Liga MX tournament

Wrong thread name faggot.

Liga MX is better than most South American leagues the exceptions being the Argie and the Brazilian leagues.

Why does this always happen. That one team that Is undisputedly the best In league then comes a 3 week vacation Into the new season and said team does absolute dog shit the whole tournamemt with the exact same sqad, what changes?

This is whats wrong with this board, you stupid motherfuckers dont even watch sports

dude what?

anyways, I think Pumas can win against Indio, but if Boca makes it through (which they will). I'm pretty sure they're gonna get eliminated by them, unless Pumas can keep a 0-0 at la bombonera and win it at home. Boca is has really good form in libertadores right now, so they're favorite to take it all.

We'll see how it goes...

The league is getting better, more parity between the teams.

Tigres on paper has the best squad, but Rayados, America, Leon have really strong squads as well.

Next I would put Pumas, Toluca and Chivas, yeah I said Chivas.

Then there's the rest of the teams.

As for why that happens, Idk. Maybe its because of the tournament structure of the league and players get lazy during the break idk.

negrito pls stp, no need to get mad. You still have boca and rosario to cheer for.

Toluca? Never heard of it..

Pretty sure they are taking the meme cup more seriously than liga mx

But I have not been following pumas as of late.

Mexican teams win nothing from this tournament.
Liga MX > Libertadores

Pumas v Boca Final

Cap this.

One can only hope m8.

The budget that mexican "teams" have compared to southamericans clubs actually should ashame mexicans not us

> literally losing to Ching chong chie united

>taking the ones the get through as 'the best ones'
often one, if not two of the finalists are the ones that choked the least, rather than the 'objectively best' ones.
libertadores is a choke-fest, with some refball here and there.

but how could you know that? that's not even your favorite sport.

To put things in perspective can you compare the mexican league and MlelS budgets to the Hue and Argie leagues? Im curious

Say hi to your 2017 Copa Libertadores champion

it's been like that before, laddie. don't be dishonest, as tempting as it may be to your underdog sudaca heart.

Lately it's been Corinthians, Flamengo, São Paulo and Palmeiras/Atl-MG/Cruzeiro/Gremio/Inter/whoever is doing good as the top 4 richest.
And now Corinthians is down to second because they have a stadium to pay and that hinders them severely. So no 'peak value' because of stadiums. Unless they're rating properties, which I don't believe they are.

Plus, pic semi-related.

read user

Anyone know where I can buy pic related

>read user
you read, I'm disagreeing with you, you're wrong. I already read your stupidity.

and there's the cue. i'm out.

They sell stuff over the internet now, you know?

Brazilian teams have higher budgets

ou never disagree with me

When i said "peak", I mean their own value, not their position in the ranking. I never said anything about which position they had.

For Copa Libertadores without Mexico please

I understand your explanation, but not the previous context.
So I guess I'll believe it because I sure as hell won't understand it on my current state.

I was just picking on you btw.
My first two sentences were the original post and the rest was me fucking around.

Are you that scared? That damn scared?

oh brazil you rascal

>In 2014,mexican club Leon couldnt beat after fourth games a bolivian team which highest paid player earned 10,000 $

I remember this, Bolivar was no joke before the semis break.

>and three alpacas per year.
Kek

Mexican league has unbelievable parity. You thought leicester was a cinderella story? Leon did the same thing, and won TWO times.

To be fair, the wage parity in the MLS is huge. Kaka makes $6mil, his teammates make $30,000 a year. They use up all their cash on superstars.

...

Wow we really do overpay for has been yuros.... but that's just the top DPs. MLS has the lowest average salaries out of the top leagues in the Americas

That may not seem like a lot but you also have to consider the purchasing power that each salary can get you in different countries. It's expensive to live here in the big cities whereas that 2 million hue salary would be like 10 million here due to how cheap it is to live in South America

>Best paid players in Brasileirao
>> Fred: 2,700,000 $
Checks-out.
>> Alexander Pato: 2,400,000 $
paid by lelsea, paid by 2 clubs since 2014
>> Luis Fabiano: 1,600,000 $
gone to china
>> Sheik: 1,580,000 $
axed to half of that when he left Corinthians long-ish ago

in turn, now we have under the current 1 USD = 3.50 BRL:
>Alex (Internacional)
earns $2.468M a year
>Robinho (Atl-MG)
earns $2.742M/y
>Lucas Barrios
earns $1.440M/y
Surprises me that that previous list didn't have D'Alessandro in it. He's paid $2M/y.

The oppulence of Brazilian football lies more in the 500k BRL/Month contracts that a few nobodies, renowned only in the domestic league receive.
It's a money bonfire. Almost every of the big 10 Brazilian clubs has a leech of their own, gobbling ~$140K a month; $1.7M a year.
Some have more than one, like Corinthians often does. Internacional too.

Anderson (ex-Man. Utd; now Internacional), Cristian (former Fenerbahçe; now Corinthians), Kléber (Former Gremio?). They are all paid upwards $1.7M/y to do nothing.

To put in perspective, usually the rest of the senior roster is paid half/third/fifth of that annual 1.7M, depending on the stature of the club.

>Pablo Osvaldo: 2,000,000 $
Somebody hold me. I don't know whether I want to slap that primadonna or the dumbos that overpay him that heinous amount.
>Erviti: 500,000 $
Christ. I like him though.
He reminds me of Mugen's (Samurai Champloo) cuntish mannerisms.

Osvaldo actually just got paid 1,000,000 for six months, but since that list was $/year

>being paid 1 million dollaroos to do nothing and berate at lodeiro, who was pulling all the strings in that shit team

>The favela of Sao Paulo, Brazil
Stay mad lad, Boca es mundial

he's right tho, dani stone is overpaid as fuck

by 'that shit team' I meant 'that shit team that had Lodeiro as its only decent player' (and meli to save their asses at moments).

>boca es mundial
that's a hell of a stretch. I could meme that Boca is only intercontinental, but that'd be classless (and still a stretch).

forgot this:
>[...] not that shit team as in 'Boca is shit'.

Absolutely, i agree with that
>le mundial de clubes is better than intercontinental meme
>le chinese/arab team meme
It's the same shit

I know BOCA JR's and I'm American.
>the starving city of bananinho.

Literal who's.

It'd be more surprising if you didn't know Boca, given that Sup Forums is likely your timesink to the point you shitpost on threads completely unrelated to your local crop of sports.

that'd be as if I wanted to be the utmost bum and resorted even to read the hockey/baseball/nfl containment threads, which I don't.

>being angry at what could've been
I didn't affirm what you're complaining about.

Why you do that to yourself?

Are there South American leagues beyond Hue and WhiteArgie though? I thought they flipped a coin to see who would play Libertadores and Sulamericana.

2017 la. Our year.

did christopher gonzales flop?

Sort of. He's not starting for Colo Colo

good luck for him. who are your most promising youngsters atm?

No hues that's for sure.

that's without saying. there's nearly no brazilians playing in SA outside brazil, much less, youngsters.
