Why was this considered poseur core? it's great.

If it didn't have that stupid socialist pro-peace hippie bullshit message with it then maybe it wouldnt get so much flak

It's not that. Good band though.

other than here, where would it have such a reputation
if you didn't need to insert a validation scenario into every thing you experience, maybe you wouldn't be reaching this hard

>dude what if we just throw our weapons away and live as one race the human race lmao

thats the entire album

lol but the actual music is great.

edgy

It is a great album. Quite a few Sup Forumstants hate it for its "war ending the world" message. I don't let that bother me one bit and I enjoy the fucking music.

Those Sup Forumstants didn't live with the very real and valid threat of oncoming nuclear annihilation hanging over their heads. I think the "pro-peace" message and existential dread is understandable...

>Socialist
>Pro peace hippie

This is so damn true.

I dont like it because it gets too firts baby obscure album core and you get boring to see it on chart threads.
Thanks for ask

You spend too much time on this website, bro.

tru

Because /daily/ is the worst thing to happen to this board since megaupload dying.

Not an argument

child.

>being against nuclear annihilation is a leftist idea

Because its the first album newfags start spamming after they get down spamming anco, death grips etc

its okay but television marquee moon and majority of wire's albums blow it away.

>disliking an album because other people like it

>/daily/

never opened one single daily thread, why are they a bad thing?

those albums are pretty different than this, there's no proto-KoRn on either of them

>poseur core
>taking forced memes by trips seriously

It's shit

reddit-esque dilletante approach to art and criticism + tumblr-esque ironic "humor" + tripfag circlejerking = /daily/

Most "poseurcore" albums are great. They're only called that because of its fanbase, specifically RYM.

television is boring

s/t is better maymay start in 3... 2... 1...

Marquee Moon and Deceit are two very different albums that are both great in their own ways.
Also, since fucking when is This Heat "Poseurcore"?

Horizontal Hold is incredible tho.

So is Twilight Furniture, The Fall of Saigon, Not Waving, and 24 Track Loop. I'd say s/t and Deceit are about equal in quality, though.

the first industrial metal track
24 track loop is the first idm/drill and bass track

Makeshift Swahili is also one of the earliest examples of death-metal style growling I know of, though Cromagnon had them beat by 10 years or so.

>dude i can't listen to music i disagree with
talk about closed minded you faggot cock suck.

IIIIIIIIN HER NATIVE GERMAAaaAANNNNN

that's my favorite This Heat song for sure.

also S. P. Q. R. is proto-Guided By Voices.

Poseurcore albums aren't bad its just something we say to trigger the kids who got sick of death grips. and it works everytime

thoughts?

i prefer the cohesion as-an-album the s/t is but like the song versions on the john peel sessions individually more

IT'S. ALL. GREEK. TO. ME.
The first two minutes of Health & Efficiency is imo some of the best music This Heat ever made, but the rest I could take or leave.

Who /Camberwell Now/ here???
JUST BECAUSE YOU CAN SIT ON A HORSE DOESN'T MEAN YOU CAN RIDE

this is basically the alt-right millennial stance on everything remotely 'progressive' from the 20th century. they didn't have to live through any of this shit so they relate it to twitter SJWs somehow.

all context is immediately thrown by the wayside because the album says WHITE MAN or boob dildo asks how many roads must a man walk down, etc.
