Neither, both shit. Pulp > Suede > the rest.

Both are shit

Blur
But Champagne Supernova and Don't Look Back In Anger are gr8 songs probably better than anything in Blur's output

Woohoo vs bla bla my Wonderwall

What do you think?

Fuck britpop, shoegaze was always the superior genre.

Pretty much the same. As a whole I love Blur's catalog more but, Blur never wrote anything as good as "Don't Look Back in Anger"

the stone roses

>bringing up a completely unrelated genre for Sup Forums credit
for shame

Pulp

Blur is wasted talent for Graham and Damon.
And Oasis is just Noel feat, his talentless brother and some literally whos.

Blur, obviously. Now get out.

Completely unrelated? Man, you must really know a lot about the history and the correlation between these two genres.

Suede

Pavement

>completely unrelated
Shoegaze was pretty much killed off by Britpop coming about. The reason there's barely any Shoegaze between 1994ish until it was revived in the 2000s was because Shoegaze bands either went Britpop (Ride, Verve, Lush), went Alt Rock (Smashing Pumpkins, Swervedriver, Catherine Wheel) or broke up (MBV, Chapterhouse, Kitchens of Distinction)

Even bands like Blur were originally Shoegaze and then changed their sound. Slowdive ended up more or less getting shafted by Creation after they signed Oasis which was largely why they made Pygmalion

Pulp

didn't read lol

these desu. also,
>posting father ted
>the answer not automatically being the divine comedy

>blur... oasis i mean oasis

That would be an ecumenical matter

For real though I don't know how I never noticed that's Neil Hannon's voice. have you heard the leak yet of the new album?

Oasis are horribly mediocre but Blur are straight shit

NEITHER.

Why listen to those two shitehawk bands when the following exist:

Super Furry Animals
The Divine Comedy
Pulp
Supergrass
Manic Street Preachers
Mansun
Strangelove
Lush
The Wonderstuff
Spiritualized
Baby Bird
The Bluetones
Whipping Boy
Longpigs
The Beta Band
Ash
The Auteurs

I agree with this to be honest, even thought I don't think all of those bands are Britpop.

I went with general indie over specific Britpop. The larger scene hadn't died (like Shoegaze or Goth) and just kept trundling on. Britpop was just a catch-all term for a lot of UK indie at the time.

Ah, I'd forgotten this masterpiece.

Pulp...and blur

lol fag

Nigga we homies now

Blur. I don't like them in particular but at least they didn't ruin every party for the next 10 or so years with one of their songs.

Blur have many good albums, oasis have several hits like "Wonderwall", "Don't look back in anger". IMHO, Blur is better

Blur, because at least they have one good album.
