>allowing heads of state to serve more than two terms
absolutely disgusting

>allowing heads of state any form of reelection
wew

Merkel is a chancellor, the president is the "actual" head of state. Chancellor is like a PM in parliamentary democracies.

Our head of state has been that since 1973

Monarchy sure is great lads

>the president is the "actual" head of state.
He only has representative functions, The Chancellor is something in between PM and President

Well, technically he is one.

>Presidents have extensive discretion regarding the way they exercise their official duties.[2] The Federal President gives direction to general political and societal debates and has some important "reserve powers" in case of political instability (such as those provided for by Article 81 of the Basic Law).[3] Under Article 59 (1) of the Basic Law (German Constitution), the Federal President represents the Federal Republic of Germany in matters of international law, concludes treaties with foreign states on its behalf and accredits diplomats.[4] Furthermore, all federal laws must be signed by the President before they can come into effect; however, he or she can only veto a law that he/she believes to violate the constitution.

He doesn't exercise those powers by convention.

I meant that officially the president is the head of state.

Her only contender is a democratic socialist which is arguably worse if you're concerned about rapefugees and all that

Successive terms is just stability.
Then again, we don't have President, or anything equal, so who knows.

USA's actual position is more about bipartisan butthurt that Presidents have a easier time getting successive elections.

Merkel had a good run, but she stayed in power too long, now people hate her. If she had stepped down 4 years ago, I don't think people would hate her nearly as much. On top of that, we'd have a competent person dealing with the refugees now.
Tl;dr: Merkel should just voluntarily step down already

Hey Germans, remember not to listen to the polls.

Some polls here gave Trump only a 2% chance to win.

Queen Elisabeth is also officially a head of state and because British constitution is not codified she could be, hypothetically, much more powerful.

As far as I understand, the German President is the equivalent of our Monarchs.
They don't really do much at all except when the Prime Minister tells them to sign laws and shit

Look what happened the last time Germany didn't listen to the Poles

She won the popular vote by over a million votes.

Trump """won""" because of a flawed 18th century loophole created to appease slave owners

#notmynpresident

German President can publicly comment on politics.

It's still a very prestigious post and president is (or should be) a moral authority.

>German President can publicly comment on politics.
I mean, unlike British monarchs.

huh interesting
over here it's a huge deal if any member of the Royal Family makes any sort of political statement

>#notmynpresident

Hahahahhaha, not yet, but he will be, unless you're not American

This. Strom Thurmond tier

protip: she's either going to be reelected – or some *actually* left-wing party is going to be elected and all damages done by Merkel will seem small in comparison.

And over 3 million of those votes are estimated to have come from illegals, dead people, and those that voted multiple times because California's voting restrictions are non-existant

It is a big deal?
I thought it was more butthurt from all political sides, since Political parties basically use weeks if not months to make opinions and formulate them.
Meanwhile Prince Faggot go to the media, and says something, and they think he didn't have to work for it.
Very butthurt.

Thats sorta what politicians get for being a bunch of slow weak willed collective backstabbers. Monarchical influence is amazing.

>Disproportional voting
>18th century slave owners
kek

...

>this cuck actually believes that the US should be controlled entirely by Cuckifornia and Jew York

California has a population of around 40 million. Of course Hillary is going to get more votes, you cuck.

This. Don't forget that Merkel is conservative in Germany.

I'd like to see R2G coalition in power though. Would be a nice change.

>Brit understands American system better than American liberals do

I shouldn't be surprised

Source: your ass.

The world of post-factual politics is amazing.

Germany the fuck is up with your opposition?

It's borderline impossible to serve more than 10 years in the UK without a PM getting rekt by either their own party or the opposition?

Why has no one booted Merkel yet?

Germans are afraid of change

Why do you hate democracy?

2/10 but I'll bite

It was to appease less populated areas. Otherwise major cities could just vote in presidents who'd pass laws that only benefited cities while the rural areas got buttfucked.

Merkel is a pretty good leader, overocean anglos project too much

It's too much of a stretch to say that that many illegals may have voted though, they had all the incentive to do so since it could possibly mean deportation. And on top of that, no voter ID means that it can be done easily. So it's pretty much fact that there were illegals voting

>afraid of change
>not afraid to turn into a cuck

Or were you cucks all along?

If R2G actually gains power, AfD will be 100% in 2021 though.
Also, Merkel has actually always openly critisized multiculturalism as a failure. Don't know why she lost her mind last year.

>your vote should mean more if you live in a sparsely populated region
>billy bob who doesn't believe in evolution has more of a say than an economist in NY

>Of course Hillary is going to get more votes
because she was the superior candidate (which truly shows what a terrible pres don will be)

>you cuck.
You're an embarrassment to british people everywhere, I beg you to kill yourself.

pls, exit.

U wot? I was required to show an ID to vote. And after I voted my name was checked off, so I could not vote multiple times.

The whole "illegals voting 100 times" is a Fox News meme.

infowars.com/report-three-million-votes-in-presidential-election-cast-by-illegal-aliens/

Germans are faggots

don't voter ID rules differ state to state though? some requiring it and some not requiring it at all?

Maybe this is a state by state thing.
I've heard it too often.

>1973

Small time.

Mob rule is a mistake

Some states don't have voter id laws. Illinois and California being examples

>infowars

Need I say more? Buy muh filters and fluoride is a lizard people conspiracy, right?

It has the sources in the article

>Infowars
Next time, you could post one of those fake facebook newssites started by Macedonian teenagers.

I am Greek

>infowars

>billy bob who doesn't believe in evolution has more of a say than an economist in NY
Discrimination based on ones race, gender, or economic status is prohibited by the US constitution.

At this point they are more transparent and trustworthy than the MSM. Afterall, the MSM media predicted Clinton to win with polls and all.

>infowars

>can publicly comment on politics.
So can I but I have no power.

yup, and she has insanely powerful reserve powers as well

>VoteFraud.org
Lmao nice source. Absolutely objective and non-partisan. You should check out their website.

If you want another source just look one up

>Don't know why she lost her mind last year.
Onset of dementia?

>your vote should mean more if you live in a sparsely populated region
It should. Otherwise it just turns into a mob rule where media over the more populated regions controls the nation.

And even then, the sparse region still matters less because they still get less counting final votes.
3x vote value doesn't mean a lot when the more populated state is 40-100x more populated.

underestimated the power of her own words most likely.

I actually think that is right in a way. Politicians tend to turn insane after a certain time of serving.

You can even find shit on Washpo
washingtonpost.com/news/monkey-cage/wp/2014/10/24/could-non-citizens-decide-the-november-election/

>billy bob who doesn't believe in evolution has more of a say than an economist in NY
Implying most of Hillary's supporters in NYC aren't also dumb as shit.
t. NYC resident.

Yes.

>"""""""""""""""""""""""""first""""""""""""""""""""""""" world

#
>And even then, the sparse region still matters less because they still get less counting final votes. 3x vote value doesn't mean a lot when the more populated state is 40-100x more populated.

That's kind of the point. It evens out the playing field but not to their point of balancing it completely

>californians don't deserve the vote

This
The amount of dumb hippies and inspiring rappers in NYC is really understated

Not that I find it hilarious that anybody who shows up can vote in some states because god forbid everyone had to carry an ID but that article is from 2014 and there is no proof that it happend.

My tinfoil hat also puts its money on russia manipulating votes in the big swing states.

They justify it by saying it's racist/classist and disenfranchises minorities/poor people

>infowars.com

holy fuck this dyke has great legs

It's either her or some unholy alliance between greens, ""SPD"" and the literal left. There is no hope and Petry is not that great either AfD is still in its baby phase and needs to sort its shit out.

City people are dumber than rural folk. They lack common sense.

>She won the popular vote by over a million votes.
That's wrong though

This does not discuss actual voting, but an archaic clause that relocates voting power to more populated states regardless of the status of their inhabitants.
You win the argument.

Did it seriously take three non-Americans to tell your dumb ass that voter laws change by state?

>president is (or should be) a moral authority
well it seems to me that Merkel has taken that task from the president

Or did you not fucking understand that the whole "beaners voting a million times" is just propaganda created for idiot consumption?

Voter fraud is a myth. Get over it.

>Voter fraud is a myth.
what about the videos that surfaced, where people admitted on camera that they were doing voter fraud?

She's bi, not a dyke

>voter fraud is a myth

kek'd come to Brazil to see the your rare unicorn.

How can voter fraud be a myth when an illegal can go vote without any repercussions as their are no laws to verify a person's identity in certain states?

Anyone who supports a cunt who wants to spread terror throughout the middle east should fuck off and die desu

>california should decide the election every time

fuck off to cucknada. we are not a democracy

>Voter fraud is a myth.
It literally isn't. We just have no idea how prevalent it actually is.
Ignore him, he'll just say that those videos are faked

If you've ever felt like a useless piece of shit just remember that Germany also has a president.

This, modern polling is utter rubbish. Ignore it at every turn, just focus on convincing people with actual arguments and get to the polls on election day.

Jesus christ you are dumb. Illegals can vote in California and get off scot-free.

What makes you so confident that the metric shit-tons of illegals pouring into states with lax voting regulations cannot vote?
I don't know about infowars.com's 3 Million number, but there's absolutely truth in the statement.
Also bear in mind that infowars was saying Trump would win when all others were putting Hillary at numbers like 98% chance of winning.
The MSM is no longer trustworthy.

>she's the thrid chancelor since 1982
Where did everything go so wrong?

There's an estimated 2.6 million illegals (probably more) in California alone. Combined with other states with illegal populations, the basically non-existent voter ID laws half the US has, and the fact that this election was pretty much a direct referendum on whether illegals should be able to stay or not (so there would be a higher illegal turnout than normal) it could be well above 3 million.

the offensive into russia

Do you even have term limits
I think all countries ought to at least consider them

"Lars Jorgenssen here. I don't have ID but I want to vote, amigo."

Sure.

We need a wall

nope

Kohl was in office from 1982-1998

NOT ALL STATES HAVE THE SAME VOTER ID LAWS YOU FUCKING INBRED CHICANO SCUM
But I guess if you ignored the other five posts telling you that you'll just ignore this one as well.

Water is the best wall
Just dig a really big moat along your borders
