Lil herb- welcome to fazoland is the superior drill album though

To pimp a butterfly over section 80? The fuck is wrong with you?

I think you're confusing shitty sub genres of hip hop with rap

but mbdtf is a shitty pop album?????????????????
it has fergie on it. can't get any more pop than that

>falling for the tpab is bad meme this hard

Kendrick's best songs are on section 80
inb4 "hurr much black power"

there's like 3 good songs on section 80, stop trying to be so contrarian, as a whole GKMC and TPAB are a lot better, section 80 is decent though

Literally just Fuck Your Ethnicity and HiiiPower and exceptional, TPAB only has 2 bad songs

Are you stupid tpab only has 3 good songs. section 80 is what made kendrick it's more than just "decent" and you call yourself a kendrick fan baka

I never said that Section 80 isn't kendricks first album that sets him apart from the others but GKMC and TPAB are on another level in almost every way, the production, his flow, the lyrical topics, again Section 80 isn't bad, has some great songs on it but as a whole project it's not on the same level. and almost every song on TPAB is amazing in it's own way, same goes for GKMC

Section 80 is better in every way, more unique beats and he raps about more than just being opressed and how hard it is being black. GKMC is his best, to pimp a butterfly has worse beats and he doesn't rap nearly as good as he does on section 80 so it's objectivly his worse album. Your taste is just shit or your a BLM baby who doesn't know any better

>unique beats

it's literally not even contestable, TPAB has some of the best production behind the lyrics, blending genres effortlessly with people like Ronald Isley, George Clinton, Lotus and Kamasi Washington behind it, I'm not saying that Kendrick has much/any creative input, but there's no denying it's the best production out of any of his albums

>Lotus
I love Flylo but I don't hear a lot of him on the album honestly

I mean I'm not doubting his production ability or that he helped make the album what it is but it just feels like it doesn't have much of his usual chaos or personality in it and that's a little disappointing to me

Anyway part of what makes MBDTF such a great album is that Kanye is genuinely an amazing musician but you can't always tell because he covers up so much of what he does with noise and beats. The part in Power where he strips away everything and leaves you with just the synthesizer and the chords and then slowly adds it all back is amazing.

How's high school? I bet it sucks that summer break is over :(

A lot of the songs sound the same and have mediocre production, the blacker the berry, I, and king kunta are the only songs with a good beat. Give me your 3 best songs from that album with good production and I'll give you 3 from section 80 that crush it

Wesley's Theory (some of the best production I've heard on any Hip-Hop track, and you can for sure hear FlyLo on this one)
These Walls
u/For Sale? (Interlude)

Definitely stand out as strong, and they literally sound nothing alike

you can say you prefer Section.80 and I can respect that, but to say it's objectively better than TPAB is too far homie

>and a few german releases
>16 Jahre alter deutschrap fan detected

>worse beats
yeah maybe if you've never listened to Jazz or funk before
My taste is not shit and the black lives matter movement is autistic, TPAB takes hip hop beyond what most artists do which is just rap about bitches and money over some beats, if you can't see that then maybe you should listen to more music outside of hip hop

Hiipower, adhd, and fuck your ethnicity aren't even jazz related and they're better than anything on TPAB. It's overrated as fuck especially considering he can pay for the best producers on the planet. If you can listen the whole through TPAB without being bored to death then you deserve an award

not only the best rap album of the 2010's
