The song is great to be honest. They always play it at halftime at my local club.

Who was that random guy with Baddiel and Skinner in the video?

my uncle

Lead singer of the band, the Lightning Seeds or something.

50 years ohfhurt~

Why do Germans on Sup Forums always seem to be fond of English football songs?

Are they played often over there? They often poke fun at the Germans as well

THREE

"Football's Coming Home" was popular in 1996 as a way to mock the English with the fact that we won the Euros in their own country, eliminating them previously.

Then it sort of got stuck and casuals began to sing it on many occasions.
But it is still primarily used to mock England whenever we play you at a major tournament.

YNWA is sung by Dortmund and some other clubs, because they have some sort of fan alliance with Liverpool or Celtic fans.

They look like an Tim and Eric from the 90s

That's cute desu, I'm glad you guys finally won a world cup after going so long without having won it

Now you don't have to desperately hang on to having won the Euros as your only achievement you'll be free to celebrate our Euro win this summer

jules rimet still gleaming

Do German people actually like this song or are they taking the piss?

You seem kinda mad

Here, have a pic of your German queen on the greatest day of her life.

Both.

We like it and we use it for banter.

DELETE THIS

She was happy because she had just planned out the entire Lady Diana murder

>tfw Kuntz scored the equalizer against England which lead to their exit

cant make that shit up

It's not the true version, the classic is based on 2002 :^)

It's a catchy song m8.

>slagging off England

Guys, when England win this summer, are you going to be able to handle the memes?

If I were you I'd all sort your fucking shut out.

Arseholes

>Germans

You guys are finished. 7-1 blah blah blah. How can you do that then lose 1-0 to Ireland

Embarrassing

>How can you do that then lose 1-0 to Ireland

Are you serious?

Our team didn't give much of a fuck about the qualifiers with the new format that literally allows the first 2 teams to qualify directly.
And we still won the group at the end.

Since when are you following football?
Tournament mode is completely different from qualifiers or friendly game mode, ESPECIALLY for our team.

That being said, I don't think we will win the Euros, but neither will England.

Original 96 version was the best

Not sure how many of you were around to watch 96 but as someone who bandwagoned the Germans at the time, England should've won those semis and even the Czech Rep should've won that final. Extremely fortunate krauts

>We can Dance Nobby's dance, we can dance it in France

COMING HOME

Fuck me, remember when it was only 30 years of hurt? We've had 50 now, bloody hell.

THREE LIONS ON A SHIRT

JULES RIMET STILL GLEAMING

THIRTY (now fifty) YEARS OF HURT

NEVER STOPPED ME DREAMING

Feels old, man

youtube.com/watch?v=9owJbIUlFNc

Honestly I can't even imagine England without "X-ty years of hurt". And I don't mean this to ridicule England, it just seems to have become an essential part of english football identity.

It definitely is an essential part of English football identity these days

But I am sincerely hoping it can change soon

We've got a great fucking team this year, Kane, Vardy, Dier, Alli, Rose, Drinkwater. Who knows what could happen. We already beat you guys 3-2, yes it was a friendly but still a good sign.

its already home

Yeah England is definately in the running. Spain, France, Germany and England are my favourites but I'd have trouble ranking them.

>definately
It's the same as "definitv". There is no a.

Do England fans actually think they're going to win?

Of course not, we're incredibly pessimistic/realistic when it comes to England. All the posts here are us taking the piss, as we do in our own way.
