What's the best song from the *second* greatest band on earth ?
My nomination is : That Joke Isn't Funny Anymore (1985)
The crescendo of Morrissey's lyrics at the end of the song with the disillusioned rifts make me fucking weep. The overall song has some of The Smiths best lyricism next to The Queen is Dead (1986) and What Difference Does It Make (1984).
Song Highlights include
>I'VE SEEN THIS HAPPEN IN OTHER PEOPLE'S LIVES AND NOW IT'S HAPPENING IN MINE , I'VE SEEN THIS HAPPEN
>HIT THEM WHEN THEY FALL DOWN, HIT THEM WHEN THEY FALL DOWN
1# Band on earth is The Beatles
I Know It's Over >"Mother, I can feel the soil falling over my head" >"If you're so funny, then why are you on your own tonight?" >tfw this song actually makes me cry because I know I'm going to die alone
Jose Perez
I really like I Don't Mind if You Forget Me, I think it's a really cute song w/ clever lyrics but I could be alone in that opinion.
Oliver Gray
that poor dead rabbit on his head, why did they have to make it explode like that?
Hunter Rivera
>IKIO isn't on here so I have to vote for PPPLMGWIW >oh well
Easton Kelly
OP you know it's "Kick them when they fall down" and not hit, yeah?
