Came up with this : a hand-operated tape loop from an answering machine cassette. The nail works as a tiny little crank.
I can't remember, it was from a french brand called Tora. But it was broken when I bought it, so I emptied it of its component, stuck springs and a contact mic in it. Now it's a weird noisy box.
