2013 was a pretty good year

2013 was shit because I was a rlly depressed highschool senior and then I got kicked out of highschool and went full meet

2016 nothing has changed except I gained 100lbs and I like shittier music

Hope you have someone to talk to, user.

I know someone in the exact same position, you're not alone user. Also, good taste.

you're a shitty white men an-

i liked 2011

70's were GOAT

2013 was pretty Greatest Of All Time, if you know what I am saying.

I'm sorry for your loss (or should I say gain :^()

you have utterly fantastic taste, because I can recognize most of your albums

80's were cool too

>basic channel
pretty good.

We don't seem to share many tastes tho.

Would post mine, but topsters keeps fucking annoying me by doing some weird thing where it searches the wrong shit.

>2013
>no like clockwork
Why is Sup Forums cancer?

fuck off with your shitty buttrock

I desperately need more recommendations for alt-rock bands with nice guitar riffs.

Please anons, i went through the whole charts.

Forgot this

...

dazzling killmen - face of collapse
laddio bolocko - strange warmings

soundcloud.com/user-200144085/blue-toad-rough-recording

mem

>Teenage Filmstars – Star
>Hum – Downward Is Heavenward
>The Church – Priest=Aura

mostly psych/noise rock tho

I'm a fan of my new chart. I'll keep it.

Nice quadrant dub OP.

Really good choice of classical here user. Nice taste.

Some really interesting looking choices that I don't know. Definitely wanna check out that first one. You seem pretty cool.

whoops forgot to post mine lmao

neat, you tried the dirty three/low collab album?
eyo bubbo,

every fucking time I post a chart no one responds :(

holy shit youtube.com/watch?v=nhB2kJyfdFY

I'm sorry. Alt rock is a wide term. If you want something cleaner I would just regard it as indie, either way, it's not really; my preference usually leans into twee with music like this. Maybe check these out:

Imperial Teen – Seasick
The Umpteens – Turn The Livingroom Into A Dance Floor
Galaxie 500 – On Fire

I think a lot of indie sounds like Neil Young, so if you haven't heard this, you should:

Neil Young With Crazy Horse – Everybody Knows This Is Nowhere

eyo obe,

music for deserts.chart

...

something about cats
Mtume Umoja Ensemble - Alkebu-Lan, Land of the Blacks: Live at the East
tmr

E L E C T R I C W I Z A R D
S P O O K T H R O N E

I'm sorry, I don't know any others.

you'd probably like Desert Sessions and Welcome to Sky Valley
then you'd have your pick of "literally anything else on the chart" if you wanted to keep going from there

Spiderland is great, I'm sorry I can't get into Trout mask, wish I could. Nice Pink Moon but I prefer Bryter Layter. Talking Heads is good in any form, but I prefer fear of music.

Beatles is always nice. You have good choice in Smiths albums, but why not Hatful?

Can't comment, don't know any.

Morning boos

Townes Van Zandt - S/T
Fleet Foxes - S/T

Listen to more hypnagogic pop
Savage Young Taterbug - River Mortis
Ducktails - Landscapes

Hood - The Cycle of Days and Seasons

Henry's Dress - S/T

O'rang - Herd of Instinct

god damn it what's the name of that album with the ball of clay smoking a dip
I heard it like years ago and lost it

The Caretaker - An empty bliss beyond this World

George Russell - Electronic Sonata for Souls Loved by Nature
The Who - Tommy
Asia - Arena

Is this in order?
Slint should be higher. Bryter Layter is correct in comparison to pink moon.

>Is this in order?
This is in order on how much I like these albums. Spiderland is a wonderful album, but there are many that I have more love for.

Why do you prefer Bryter Layter? The orchestration damages it for me.

Cactus – Cactus
Splashgirl – Pressure
Zebulon Pike – And Blood Was Passion
Howlin' Wolf – This Is Howlin' Wolf's New Album. He Doesn't Like It. He Didn't Like His Electric Guitar At First Either.
Peter Green – The End Of The Game
Causa Sui – Summer Sessions

Vincent Le Masne & Bertrand Porquet – Guitares Dérive

Magnum – Fully Loaded
Hannibal Peterson – Angels Of Atlanta
Veronique Chalot – J'ai Vu Le Loup

Thanks, George Russell is cool.

Arthur Verocai – Arthur Verocai
Baden E Vinicius – Os Afro Sambas
José Mauro – Obnoxious

I'm the guy who posted the chart.

Bryter Layter, to me, has better songwriting. The arrangements are beautiful and 2 steps up from Five Leaves Left. It's a really relaxing album. Also Poor Boy is a BANGER

Trout Mask Took some time, but the humor, lyrics and crazy blues rhythms won me over. I picked TQID because of the 3 song streak of Cemetary Gates, Bigmouth Strikes Again, and The Boy With A Thorn In His Side. I adore all of those songs to death and love the rest of the record as well.

I like the orchestra. I feel he uses instruments in a way that responds to him, rather than just accompaniments like in Pink Moon. I love all 3 albums in their own way, but I like a greater percentage of the songs from Bryter Layter.

I'd say for me they're closely ranked but
1. Bryter Layter
2. Five Leaves Left
3. Pink Moon

But again, Pink Moon is still great. Parasite is possibly my third favourite of his songs.

im fucked

this. Poor boy is probably a response to Molly Drake's Poor Mum, which is also a BANGER in it's own right.

Just think of all the great songs from Bryter:

- One of these things first
- Poor boy
- Hazey Jane II
- Chime of city clock
- Northern Sky
- Bryter Layter

It's all good.

good taste.

Nah man, you got 1919 on there, which alone gives you pretty good taste. Everything else is just a bonus.

Bernard Falaise - Clic
Rafael Anton Irisarri - A Fragile Geography
Tarentel - Ghetto Beats
Sonna - Smile
Marnie Stern - Marnie Stern
Lee Ranaldo - Amarillo Ramp

Rodan - Rusty
We have similar charts. Try J Dilla - Donuts or anything by OutKast
Deakin - Sleep Cycle

first new chart in three years

theres so much more to prog rock than dark side of the moon dig deepr

Steve Shehan – Arrows (the one on my chart)
Benjamin Lew & Steven Brown – Douzième Journée: Le Verbe, La Parure, L'Amour.

I haven't discovered everything what the label got, but that's two highlights for me; got a nice fourth world music vibe that I dig.

You may like Karl Biscuit, dandy synth-pop business. Bebel Gilberto may also be to your liking, she released some stuff on the sub-label Ziriguiboom; very nice future jazz inclined bossa nova, Tanto Tempo is the one.

And as a general recommendation I think you should check out Pop Maru.

Thanks for the recommendations. I'll check them out.

that's part of the reason I don't talk to ANYONE anymore

I'm the village idiot.
