2016 Post-Punk

What's been Sup Forums's favorite post-punk release of the year so far out of these or if there's anything else you've been digging feel free to share

Was a bit let down by new PCVC, although the second to last song was a good return to form
Really digging the Omni album too

Also which year's had the stronger releases thus far, 2015 or 2016?

This is the best post punk release so far this year imo.

not much of a year when it comes to post-punk tbqh
i liked this the most
preoccupations was p enjoyable too

No wave best wave

all of them sucked ass this year
sucks Lower disbanded they were heading a good direction

Savages new album was so garbage after how good the first one was

Just checked out Dories. Pretty good.

out of those i think Deluxe was my favorite, Outside Observer was pretty good too

Preoccupations was kind of a let down and I dont like savages at all

Naked Lights' On Nature is pretty dece but id say Deluxe is the best release this year

Sacred bones is low key god tier, why am I suddenly seeing so many of their artists' albums posted recently?

is this a joke?
Sacred bones is shit

Post-punk died in the 80s, you can't recreate it.

is this a joke?
Sacred bones is okay

have you listened to telstar drugs' s/t or faux fur's s/t?

telstar drugs s/t is an actual 10/10

yeah that's why I'm curious if the user I was responding to has heard it since he's disregarding all contemporary post-punk

Has Preoccupations leaked and if so does anyone have a link?

It's garagey synth punk, close enough to post-punk

I thought even the revival died out in the mid 2000s
