We have a new studio album called Projekto de Bombas, made in collaboration with Pradera de Bombas, a band we're friends with and share one member. So this is a different album for us.

El Vacio Del Gaucho (2015) was composed over several months and, while recorded 'live' (simultaneously) it has overdubs and some studio trickery.
Our jam albums Zapadas vol 1 and 2 are selections of completely raw recordings and 100% improvised music made just for fun but are pretty nice albums in themselves. Then there's the debut self titled album from 2012.

NEW ALBUM SCHEDULED FOR RELEASE SOMETIME LATE IN AUTUMN
Hoping it'll turn out lit senpai. Literally drowning in ideas, songs for guitar, songs for piano. And field recordings! TOO many field recordings. New instruments on this one too. Jaw harp, kalimba, wooden xylophone, tubular bells, djembe, pan pipes, etcetera. (I don't actually own most of these. My friends and I just go to music stores and muck around.) In the meantime, here's this stale old album. 22 downloads. Thanks guys.
>lo-fi pop crap inspired by the Music Tapes, Neutral Milk Hotel, Jeff Mangum's WFMU shows, a Hawk and a Hacksaw, early of Montreal, Daniel Johnston, Brian Wilson, Marshmallow Coast, Syd Barrett, the Ladybug Transistor, R. Stevie Moore, Joe Meek, Guided by Voices, Beatles, Animal Collective, Robert Wyatt, the Olivia Tremor Control, etc.
>attempts at "lush" arrangements using harmonica, recorder, chimes, rain stick, accordion, fake bassoon, Hanna-Barbera cartoon sound effects, bird noises, singing saw, tambourine, fake glockenspiel, synthesizers, classical guitar, a fence, violin, water, lap harp, banjo, soda can, microtonal (busted) ukelele, field recordings, vocal harmonies, etc.
>crunchy
>cringey lyrics about the bittersweet feeling of graduating high school and stuff like that
>includes attempt at a "ragtime" song

ok so i decided to record an ep at a "professional studio" because someone had gotten me a gift card from there. I don't think it sounds the best, but I never enjoy anything I write, so I was just hoping for some feedback.
>comfy piano music and some other stuff
This is very good, but if you don't like your own music, you aren't doing it right. It doesn't matter if everyone on earth thinks you are shit, just make what you like my dude.
I really dig what I'm hearing from your stuff. It's not necessarily that I don't like what I write, it just sounds different from what I imagined. And I want other people (most specifically my friends) to like it and be as excited about it as I am, which never happens so I guess that brings me down.
Yeah I went through that too, I wanted all my friends to listen to my music and felt kinda bad when they didn't give a shit.
Chances are, most people wont like or care about your content. Chances are your friends are in this group. However, in the infinite flow of total strangers, who see you as nothing but content, many will find and enjoy your work.
I've learned to keep my music separate from my friends and family, because they dont know me for my content and it really doesn't concern them.

>Psychedelic Pop
My friend and I made this album over the last month and a half, inspired by me introducing him to the Idle Race. It has a myriad of references and nods to psychedelic pop, particularly to those classic albums made in London in 1968. It features horns, violins, mellotrons, slide whistles, bicycle bells, fracas organ, 12 string guitars, phased vocals, backwards drums and a plenitude of sound effects.
I'm digging this, looking forward to the album!

We change our sound a lot so every release is different, but this one is probably the best to date. We have a kind of lo-fi weird pop release (done mostly alone), a sludgy drone rock album (as a two piece), I did a split with a friend using the Larksburg name but doing all the music that was dream and jangle pop. We have a rough sounding kind of lo-fi varied rock EP coming out next. The full length that I've been working on is busting my mind I'm really proud of all the demos that I've been recording, I think the final product is easily going to be the best thing I'll make before I'm 20. Possibly one of my best things I'll ever make? Maybe not, I think I can top it. Look out for that in 2017 though.

Description:
"Welcome to Hotel Songs. Please, enjoy your stay. I have been delivered to relay information and guidelines pertaining to your album listening experience. Hotel Songs is not to be listened to loudly, or on headphones. It is instead recommended that you find a small, clean, and well lit room in which to take residence, and a set of speakers through which to play your copy of Hotel Songs. Enjoy the album at low volumes, and let your mind wander. Are you ready? Well then, let us commence Hotel Songs.
I'll see you three nights from now."
- Eric Taxxon
As we stumble into the charade of luxury that often comes with a hotel, we often find ourselves resting well in an odd state of ambiguity and vagueness. In his second effort for Jacob And Friends, Eric Taxxon brings an album that displays that faux luxury that often we absolve ourselves into, all viewed through a lens of lush and repetitive minimal techno, intending on delivering a cozy experience to the listener.
Now available for stream and download!
Support, scrobble, or review on RYM. Any feedback of any kind would be greatly appreciated. And give Eric some love. Thank You. :)
Will still be accepting submissions for the label.

Ooh a new Highly Sensitive Person record
I'll check this out later
has a really mysterious atmosphere that i like. kinda like i dont know what its angle is. this also has really campy instrumentation and is produced well, cool stuff
vocals are sick. productions really thick. overall vibe is really pleasant, this seems pretty realized.
production is cool. come to think of it realname sound like xxxtentacion at points which is kinda funny. teether sounds like dean blunt. im not a fan of realnames flow, seems like it would sit right in my head if your bars were rapped faster.
funky ass drums, yezzzz. also this vocalist is reminding me of someone and its driving me crazy that i dont know. i think the dude from cold war kids? iunno. OHHHHOHOHOH sounds like thom yorke, ok. cool. the compositions take nice twists and turns that keep me engaged.
a part of me expected this to explode, which is i guess the problem with listening to post-rock, haha. its really mellow and the percussion on the times that it comes through is really unobtrusive which i like
holy fuck lmao. i read that desc and i was like" uh huh" and then i heard you sing and i was like "hahaha holy shit!" theyre both my fav bands so i was hoping not to be disappointed and i wasnt! youre a very good singer
like the album cover. i love how the text cuts off like the region is too small. music is rreally pretty. the keys really send this track to another dimension. but aaaa bring those vocals up! why are they so low? everything else sounds really crisp and tight for the most part but the vocals being smudged and buried are a huge turnoff for me personally
