Nothing From Something

Just under 20000. Spent the last few days purging stuff that I don't realistically see myself listening to again. Turns out that 99% of obscure music isn't really worth much once you're over the whole 'hipster victory!' shit.

2,204 on the computer I'm currently using, and the other one has a lot more but I can't get an exact number because it crashed and I haven't gotten it fixed yet.

impressive

Roughly 170k, but I only keep around 10k on my phone/iPod at any given time.

This is my third library, and I'm trying to be explicitly anti-completist.

About 300. Only added about 20 new ones since 2013. I don't even listen to music that much but browse Sup Forums everyday

>explicitly anti-completist

this
no one cares if you download the entire discography of every artist you've ever known when you probably won't listen to it for months, if ever

quality control is key

nice music, pleb.

Where do you download music from?

I bet I have more than you

Maybe like 300 including my songs

Great contribution without actually listing a number.

This. For example, I don't need Bowie's whole discog. I just keep the essentials and the albums I know I'll want to listen to again and delete the ones I listened to and determined that I have no interest in relistening to after the first few listens.

17,503 songs, 67.7 days and 120.68 GB.

I need to trim the fat of the library come October. I have some fodder since last October when I cleaned it out last.

20,672 songs
171.9 gb, still working on getting all .FLAC
about two months of music

All of them.

I've got 3 terabytes of 60's pre-ambient

800 gigs of live recordings of this local band called the fuckerfucks. They played only 2 shows before breaking up but I had 11 redundant recording rigs all recording flac which I then layered over one another for 25,000 kbps bitrate.

8 terabytes of the beatles. No not THOSE beatles, the new beatles. They haven't recorded an album yet and technically they're not really a band yet but they're indie-gospel-post-funk-punk style is going to be huge when you guys hear their stuff in about 5 years.

4 petabytes of the Ethiopian Free Jazz wave that occurred in 1973 in a town called Wenji Gefersi.

18 terabytes of sound check recordings from the mid 90's band LFO. They only scored a hit with "I like girls (who wear abercrombie and fitch)" but they were way ahead of their time.

That's just my C: drive. I have 41 drives.

In the End.

Me too
