no. the thing is, Sup Forums is a far right political forum now. if you want to avoid politics it's impossible, and as the election approaches in the US, the politics on Sup Forums goes even further to the extreme. the average poster here now makes trump look like obama. no one who isn't a nazi enjoys spending a lot of time in such an environment, where proud nazis are the clear majority. it's not a joke at this point, most of the posters are dead serious (and seriously want all the "niggers" dead, and seriously believe rape and murder of certain groups should be legalized etc).
anyone who actually cares about any kind of music is leaving. the quality of discussion in all threads is reduced. with grimes and other generals, there was a possibility they could survive, if the fans of that subject were isolated in that thread and free to discuss without interference.
maybe that still works out for some of the generals. for grimes, it doesn't work, because the media politicized grimes as a "feminist" symbol, so nazis and mras who invade Sup Forums may recognize her name even if they never heard the music, and they hate her and basically want her dead. they intentionally destroy our threads so discussion can't occur.

I'm happy she will have some time to rest. She has canceled a date or two before, and they aren't necessarily life threatening illnesses, they just make it impossible to give her all in a live performance. She has chronic conditions she works hard to overcome quietly, so no one will associate her with weakness, but sometimes it's impossible.
The next show isn't until September 17 and it's a special event for charity and the Canadian PM will be in attendance (shirtless maybe?) so hopefully she can make that one.
