Renault PU can't come soon enough, seems like Red Bull are the only ones who can challenge Mercedes.

I'm going to circuit Gilles Villeneuve next month

I have:

>never been to a race before
>never been to the city before
>don't know any French

What am I in for?

I mean the PU upgrade.

...

I saw Sebastian Vettel at the FIA headquarters in Paris yesterday. I told him how cool it was to meet him in person, but I didn’t want to be a douche and bother him and ask him for photos or anything.

He said, “Oh, like you’re doing now?”

I was taken aback, and all I could say was “Huh?” but he kept cutting me off and going “huh? huh? huh?” and waving his finger in front of my face. I walked away and continued with my shopping, and I heard him chuckle as I walked off. When I came to pay for my stuff up front I saw him trying to walk out the doors with like fifteen World Championships in his hands without paying.

Bernie at the counter was very nice about it and professional, and was like “Seb, you need to let me rig those first.” At first he kept pretending to be tired and not hear him, but eventually turned back around and brought them to the counter.

When he took one of the championships and started rigging it multiple times, he stopped him and told him to rig them each individually “to prevent any teammate infetterence,” and then turned around and winked at me. I don’t even think that’s a word. After he scanned each championship and put them in a bag and started to say the dicksucking price, he kept interrupting him by going YABADABADOO really loudly.

max is the prodigy of F1. He will be a race winner, he will be a world champion, he will be a legend.

>Hamilton confirmed for best driver

Kvyat does a great job at ending his career in 2 races

He is undoubtedly finished. Sainz is destroying him, there's no more development to be had. and its not worth the time and effort.

I like Kvyat and he's a nice guy but if you're not good enough then you're not good enough. He hasn't developed like he was expected and now he's not doing well at Toro Rosso either.

Today doesn't even matter one bit. Tomorrow does and we will see a regular

>Lewis Hamilton warned he is going same way as former world champion James Hunt as he gears up for the Spanish Grand Prix

>The view of one team principal this week was that Hamilton is ‘distracted’. He wondered aloud whether all the driver’s flights to America, where he enjoys the celebrity whirl and shares the pictures of it all with his social media devotees, is catching up with him.

>‘It has to take a toll on his body,’ said the team principal. ‘Everyone who travels away on Formula One knows how its ages you, how tired it can make you feel, and even though he is young and fit he cannot be immune to that phenomenon.’

>The buccaneering James Hunt was a contemporary. And Watson sees potential parallels between the decline of Hunt and the current travails of Hamilton.
‘There is an analogy to be drawn,’ said Watson. ‘James was a global presence as Lewis is now – his wife ran off with Richard Burton. That’s like Liberace coming back and taking up with Nicole Scherzinger (Hamilton’s former girlfriend).

>‘James won the title in 1976, and in 1977 and 1978 there came all the spin-offs of being world champion. He was a celebrity. The balance shifted away from doing his job as a driver towards off-track distractions. It is easy to believe that your social life does not have an impact on your performance, but it has a drip, drip effect. It is subliminal.

>‘The balance of your focus changes. I would like Lewis to rein in his trans-Atlantic activities and concentrate on winning the world championship for a fourth time. If he does not want to do that he should pack it up.’

>One rumour in the paddock – and it is no more than that – is that Hamilton will take a year out at the end of this season.

>I like Kvyat and he's a nice guy
There's no reason to pretend like this. Kvyat is a stupid slav.

Since when does home circuit mean anything? Russia was Kvyat's home circuit and he's choked there every single time.

Barcelona is the test circuit and everyone on the grid knows it better than any other circuit so there isn't any sort of "home advantage" regarding some special knowledge unless you beleive some psychological shit

Last week it was Kvyat's home circuit and he was BTFO by Ricky anyway.

turn off your computer and come back when you're legally old enough to sniff your sister's cooch

This has to be Rosberg's year, right? If he doesn't clinch it this year, I can see Ricciardo and Verstappen battling for the Championship next year instead.

Baku

>4x a full dutch podium at the last winter olympics
>reached the finals and semi finals at the last world cups

stay mad shitland

...

If Gasly wins the GP2 championship this year, especially if he does it as dominantly as Vandoorne, Kvyat is done in F1.

If Gasly flops, Red Bull have no drivers to replace Kvyat. Kari will get kicked out before the season is over, Camara is only a solid midfielder in one of the weakest F3 grids of all time and the other two - Verschoor and Leeds - are only on F4 level at the moment.

If Red Bull want to be cheeky, they'll do some kind of shoot-out at Toro Rosso next year between Kvyat and Gasly, just like they made Klien and Liuzzi share a seat at Red Bull in 2005.

HA HA time to watch giro where another overrated dutchman takes all the glory

...

I'm sure Gasly is going to deflate

do you wear a helmet?

What happened to Felipe Baby?

>reached the finals and semi finals at the last world cups

Nice loser mentality faggot, finishing anything less than first is a shame, not a reason to be proud.

If Hamilton takes a year off, who will replace him at Merc? And where will Hamilton drive if he comes back after a year or two?

I'm actually excited for this scenario, even if I'm a Hamilton hater. Would be fun to see him in another team after a sabbatical.

me irl

Too old for this shit.

It's ironically that the national football team is the one Dutch sporting side that keeps letting the country down lately.

Werhlein if Mercedes felt cheeky; Alonso for one last year; or maybe Tricky Ricky if his contract had a hole.

>not respecting the most physically demanding sport on the planet

Vandoorne will get into F1 and cuck Verstappen off championship titles

I womder, do italians support Riccardo since hes the closest thing to an a potential italian world champion?

this isn't squash

>fapping to men in tights

I was about to ask the same.

For a replacement I hope it's someone really left of field; and if Mercedes is still in a dominant position; I hope they win the title. That would fuck Hamilton up something fierce.

As for what team; I expect that he fully expects to drop back in Mercedes like that year off wasn't any thing at all. Otherwise I could see a return to McLaren if they're in the ascendancy. fucking shit at that point I could see.

Once Button retires, Honda delivers a great engine, and Ron Dennis dies

Italia likes whoever is in a Ferrari

They need better rookies desu

Gasly is so obviously going to choke hard at F1 if he ever gets there

too much of a babby

Force India will become Honda B-team and their drivers will be Vandoorne and Fukuzumi/Matshushita.

Perez to Haas, Hulkenberg to WEC.

>1845
If Hamilton takes a year off, who will replace him at Merc?
German Hamilton.

>And where will Hamilton drive if he comes back after a year or two?
In another dicipline, possibly MotoGP/2/3.

They just got Verschoor, apparently because Dr. Marko saw him try a ballsy overtake in F4 at Sochi and because he is a Dutchman named Vers...

Bottas ;)

FUck what a shit lineup that would be Rosberg -Bottas

I'm not kidding that much though. IF, I mean IF Hamilton takes a break (he wont), Mercs most likely choices are people associated with Mercedes, which are Wehrlein and Bottas pretty much. I don't know which one would be better, both have so many cons

is funny because you're talking about rookies and vers means fresh in dutch

What does tappen mean in Dutch?

the act of this

Monaco GP2 commentators better be Will Buxton and Jolyon Palmer

palmer is crying in the renault garage.

Wouldn't that make Ocon uncomfortable?

Let me tell you something, I've been watching this F1 for 30 years, and no rookie has ever impressed me as much as Verstappen had. I've seen all the greatest. I've seen 30 championships. I've seen it all man. Verstappen has that something special that I've only seen in very few drivers. Drivers that are multiple time world champions right now. Drivers that kids and men aspire to be. Verstappen is special let me tell ya.

Go to bed, Mario Andretti, you're drunk

>Canamasas vs Markelov
This looks promising

I think certain "Team Principals" should focus less on what Hamilton is doing and more on building a car that doesnt break down every 20 - 30 laps

Why? He will probably be in the Renault quali debrief then so it's not like he's going to hear it

Yea sure his debut career was much more impressive than e.g. Hamilton or Villeneuve

>Sky interviewer LITERALLY asked if Vettel knew what changes were made to his car before qualifying
