Friendly reminder that these are the most overrated cucks in the history of rock music
Friendly reminder that these are the most overrated cucks in the history of rock music
Agreed. And Cheap Trick are the most underrated.
>Led Zeppelin
>cucks
lol no
friendly reminder that you're a loser
...
>led zeppelin literally took music from poor nigger nobodies and got all of the fame, money, glory, and whores from it
>led zeppelin are still the cucks
lol topcake
This
They're simultaneously overrated and underrated. The people who worship them do so for their most mundane tracks while their best work is pretty much overlooked. The plebs who call them the greatest band of all time probably don't even know they were capable of things like the Rain Song. At any rate, I think pic related is one of the finest albums of the 70's. Even the 'bad' tracks on here are good.
>the most underrated band is an incredibly popular band
>op projecting
>Cheap Trick are the most underrated
Fucking this. They should be at least as praised as Led Zep.
they are definitely overrated massively
every 16 year old goes though the faze of thinking they are the greatest band to ever exist but then they discover good music
>Cheap Trick
>incredibly popular
Are you Japanese?
Over the Hills and Far Away is my jam.
No Quarter still my favourite Zep song.
you can't be overrated if your'e actually the best
>he thinks Zeppelin is the best in any category
>he says as he posts a Beatles member
come on son
Wings > Zeppelin
Ill be baitin
listen to the live shit up on youtube its great
you can either like or not, but to say they are bad musicians would be a lie
Nice bait faggot. They are not overrated at all
Friendly reminder that their popularity just bugs the shit out of some Sup Forums tents but old fags like myself know the pure star appeal and truly epic events their live performances in their musical prime was.No one and I mean No One did it live like Led Zeppelin at the time. Their live shows were the holy grail of concert going the 70's
Too bad they didn't have anything cool to play like these guys.
When I used to listen to a lot of classic rock radio I Want You to Want Me was a regular and at least in my impression is one of the biggest hits of the 70s. I guess that doesn't mean the band as a whole was that huge but I think they were.
>My woman left home for a brown-eyed man, but I still don't seem to care
>not cucks
Extra large kekeroni and cheese, please
The Flame was their only number 1 hit and most can't even hum that one. I Want You To Want Me, Surrender, and Dream Police were also hits. Beyond that, Cheap Trick doesn't exist even to classic rock fans.
Cheap Trick has always been huge in the classic rock scene. Solidly B+ grade band, but always there.
Too bad because their debut is easily top 5 rock albums of all time.
>cucks
Take your buzzwords back to Sup Forums
The only people that find your buzzwords funny are underage people and actual aspies
Queen are more overrated than Led Zeppelin. LZ made a few good albums, Queen made only made two good albums but everyone treats them like rock Gods because they made a few singles that get relentlessly overplayed on classic rock radio.
I listened to their whole discography months ago and i still think their only good song is StH.
come on man t\ey appropriated blakc cltrue so musch tey acan t be cucks
Not only are they overrated as a band, but their individual instrumentation is nothing compared to other acts of the time. Some singular examples:
Entwistle>Jones
Fripp>Page
Jagger>Plant
Bonham is the only one who stands out, and who is eclipsed by almost nobody else
Stairway to Heaven isn't even one of their top 10 best songs.
StH isn't even the best song on side 1 of that album
Ten Years Gone is best Zeppelin song.
>Trying to talk-down Led Zep by searching for better musicians from other three different bands.
>Brufford or Baker not above Bonham
>Jagger>Plant
I will argue that Deep Purple had at least the most technically accomplished musicians of any rock band during the 70's.
Fucking this. Or In My Time of Dying is also acceptable.
>The people who worship them do so for their most mundane tracks while their best work is pretty much overlooked
I agree with these, most of their pure rock tracks bore me and most of my favourite songs are their folksy acoustic material
>i still think
Maybe their style just isn't for me, gotta give it another try some time later.
>It's a Led Zeppelin discussion where people readily spout how they stole "black" music
led zeppelin, the beatles, queen.... the list goes on...
agreed, and from the start they were just session musicians who wanted to make a name for themselves. They were first and foremost players not songwriters.
>itt people who liked the band when they were younger and pretend they are better people today
Hellll no that shit is unnecessarily long
Loop Zoop goat songs
1.The Song Remains The Same
2.No Quarter
3.Dazed and Confused (Madison Square Garden version)
4.Ten Years Gone
5.Achilles Last Stand
6.Bron-Yr-Aur
7.Since Ive Been Loving You
8.Were gonna grove
????
Friendly reminder that all Led Zepplin did was try (And failed I might add) to replicate in the studio what Cream did on stage in concert. (And we all know Cream was 1000x better than Zep could ever hope to be!)
>Trampled Underfoot isn't #1
>Trampled Underfoot isn't even on list
kys sonny boy
Robert Plant used to babysit my Dad. He was friends with my great aunt (don't know if they fucked, probably did), before she died of cancer. My Dad said he wanted to contact him again, but has never had the nerve to, doesn't want to feel rejected I suppose. He probably doesn't even remember my Dad.
>inb4 cool story bro
TSRTS
Rain Song
Achilles Last Stand
Over the Hills and Far Away
No Quarter
Ten Years Gone
That's the Way
Immigrant Song
Going to California
Stairway to Heaven
it scrapes into my top ten
Extremely overrated. They had some good songs but most of their work is meh. a lot of teenagers go through that phase where they worship Robert Plant's cock.
t. wrong about all his opinions so he sticks to contrarianism
they're pretty good at stealing blues licks though amirite fellas
this sth is fucking garbage
>TSRTS
mah nigga
it's literally perfect
and the live version is probably the best performance of any band ever
>tfw no '77 drums with '73 guitar mix
>The Clunge
>D'yer Maker
>good
A big fat "no". But you are right, this has some of their best tracks. Physical Graffitiis more varied and consistent.
if my normie mom knows who they are they're a classic rock band
worst part is that they weren't even mediocre by being original
How old was your dad when Robert babysat him? When did this happen? I'm guessing it was before Led Zeppelin became huge.
