they laugh because you continue to live
to stop the laughing just kill yourself

They just aren't country boys like us, they don't know about beer , pickup trucks, and Friday night football. About to crank up the Tim McGraw and Jason Aldean and crack a beer!

because the stuff they play on the radio and have the balls to call country is nothing but redneck pop

here, have some modern country that's good
youtu.be/Tc4zWf7AnGU

A lot of it isn't even redneck pop. Just pure pop without even feigning an accent or throwing in some "country" instruments. At most the lyrics may have vaguely "country" themes.
I don't understand it.

BEER AND CHICKEN AND GIRLS AND BUTTS AND MILLER LIGHT AND FOOTBAWL AND CHICKEN AND BURGERS AND TRUCKS AND PICKUPS AND DA TROOPS AND

Me and wy boyfriend were both musicians (especially him) and we got each other into tons of different music that we each weren't into before we met. We ultimately got torn apart because of a bunch of legal and anti-gay fuckery and I haven't seen him in 3 years. Now I can't listen to any of it anymore - any of the music he got me into and any of the music I got him into - without getting seriously depressed. Associating music with great times is great, but it works both ways. It just gives me pain now. It's dangerous and I never want to love music or a person ever again.

ONE DIIIIRT ROOOOOAD

TALKING BOUT GIRLS, TALKING BOUT TRUCKS

I know the feel

Just search for new music friend, there's tons of it out there and it can really help you get through those rough patches

I've been doing that, but even when the new M83 came-out it still reminded me of the old M83, for example. But I do ok, I just get sad sometimes and the doom sets-in.

but sometimes it's nice to wallow in the meloncholy and indulge yourself in what was

do you like Jason Aldean?

it sort of can be, as long as it's not all you have

>tfw all of my friends think I only like kpop to be ironic/because I have yellow fever since it doesn't match the other genres I'm really into at all

youtu.be/gHGXtkSyFAg

yeah, it's more southern rock than country but here's one of my go tos when the meloncholy hits

>tfw my musical taste is just getting worse and worse
>tfw i used to be into cool experimental shit and black metal and noise
>tfw i slowly transitioned into emo and indie and post-hardcore
>tfw now i unironically listen to paramore and fall out boy and mcr
why is this happening to me

same thing happened to me brĂ¼! it's because you're a gay. welcome :3

wow your taste went from shit to shit then still shit, maybe someday you'll enjoy good fun music

>went from shit metal and edgelord experimental to good emo and indie
I don't see the problem

People don't listen to Country for experimintation. Jazz heads don't listen to Jazz for lyricism. Classical junkies don't listen to their chamber orchestras and string ensembles for concise 3-minute blasts of chords for the masses. Every genre has it's place. Sup Forums need things to be right or wrong, good or bad, until it all makes sense. The fact is that there's an audience for comfy, straight forward country fried pop. If that's not your bag, then so be it. but you should be comfortable listening to what you want to in your own free time. Some people listen to be challenged by confrontational art music and there's a place for that too. It's not a competition. These charts and sales figures and award shows have turned it all into some kind of race and it really isn't. If you're listening to lord your taste over someone else then you're doing it wrong. People listen to music for many different reasons. Drown out the silence. Enhance the mood. It's not just about searching for new sounds, ideas, innovation.
