Listen to your library, show off your backlog, babble about new music, do your best not to shitpost, try not to have another existential crisis, and just let the good times flow.
Yes. We at /daily/ hate music. We actually rate things by album covers.
Leo Fisher
happy birthday sondre man
Juan Hernandez
No, but it's bad to like good music. Bad music is fine, y'know, free jazz, James Ferraro, Haino, primitivism, etc...

Christopher Ward
Nick Drake - Pink Moon [1972] >contemporary folk
I am somewhat biased towards this because it's the kind of music i want to make: short and to the point songs that leave a strong impression. His arrangements and playing are great, and the record is much much better than the borefest that is Five Leaves Left. I still have to give it more listens to comprehend it better but I'll give it a blue face on advance.
eh, if I won it would mean Private Parts was a terrible album so oh well B^) listen to it better next time
William Carter

Charles Jones
>Kid Koala - Some of My Best Friends Are DJs
Although I'm a pretty big hip-hop fan and I usually enjoy instrumentals, this felt mediocre. There's some comfy moments and it flows fairly well but nothing stands out at all. Samples are a bit boring, I feel like he could've chosen some more interesting dialogue and thrown together some better jazzy loops. Decent background music and not the worst instrumental album I've heard... just not anything special.
Jace Edwards
>anime please leave

Beat Happening - Beat Happening [1985] >twee pop
Don't you just hate it when they make a re-edition of a record, where they add 14 bonus tracks, in the middle of which there is the band's worst output? I do. But listen to this: wouldn't you hate it even more if they scrambled the original tracklist and made a potpourri of all the songs, with the same tracks being in there twice under different recordings, making it a chore to listen to all the way through? Yeah, not cool, right? But how cool would it be if that became the most popular tracklist, to the point where it's the only one on spotify, where scaruffi and various critics refer to it as the main recordings, where to find a download of the original becomes a quest? That's just RAD, man.
tl;dr: get the original or go home. I've said this so many times but it's just so true. The record itself is amazingly fun.
Cooper Phillips
i made an rym and am maintaining this glorious curve as i go through and rate shit
Jack Peterson
>Not having 100+ 0.5's >Not having your highest rating be a 4.5

Jeremiah Price
>not knowing that sdc is the biggest weeb in /daily/
Kevin Evans
I watched a few animeoux, liked a couple quite a bit too. But of course it doesn't matter what I say, you'll think I'm being ironic because YOU CAN'T HANDLE THE TRUTH.
Cooper Mitchell
r u alrite also that doesn't make you a weeb tho, so it's still Trans and me, and maybe orz
Parker Moore
>maybe orz Still not entirely convinced you aren't orz
Zachary Green
What would make me a weeb then?
Brody Adams
being a weeb having a waifu wanting a daki loving anime i used to think orz and SDC were the same person
Samuel Parker
open rec to any daily man who digs Sing to God: youtube.com/watch?v=n45Mc6l7WgI probably the closest another band has come to that particular style, needless to say it's pretty amaze

The heck's a daki. Also what does waifu even mean anymore. >i used to think orz and SDC were the same person This is true btw.
This is also true.
Parker Davis
Yay I went to a Sondre Lerche concert because of you nyarlathotep. Thank you, it was awesome! Too bad I still don't have time to get back to /daily/, its past half of the year already and I've only listened to 555 songs (46 albums aprox?)"
Xavier Bell
>The heck's a daki. a dutch wife
sniperjoe?
Brody Wright
no i was not-quite-daily-guy or something like that
Scott tries to deliver an encompassing sound on this album, but at times it feels incomplete. Very strong drumming on a lot of the tracks. Some of the lengthier tracks start to feel dragged out, due to a lack of substance on them. The album flows through nicely. Has three two minute tracks on this album that add nothing to the whole experience and should've been cut out of the album. Overall, album features some high moments, with nice experimentation, but is somewhat forgettable.
Caleb Jones
hey do you have a dakimakura?
Adrian Ross
finally finished rating most of my albums check out that sweet curve
Also, screen of my top 100 overall, since topsters2 won't let me download pics (is it always that slow)? Give recs, rym for further doubts is ~JackAnderson94
What I'm looking for now mostly is: blues records, 2006 albums, 2016 albums, shit whatever as long as it is good
Christian King
oh Scarufficore just go through the rest of his 8.5s
Watched almost all of Enter The Void because I wanted to try it in degeneracy. I'm glad I did because otherwise I would've given up on it 30 mins earlier. Great visuals but I just wish all the characters and dialogue would disappear. Goddamn Noé is terrible at everything but the visuals, and even those are becoming tiring. If this was 40 minutes of the best visual moments it could've been a favorite. Right now I'm not feeling like finishing the movie. Great title sequence.
Not listening to anything interesting but I feel like listening to more music in the line of Negativland. The Sucking Chest Wound record I heard yesterday was pretty cool.
Cooper Gray
That's a decent album. Okay you're cool, you can stay here.
Easton Gomez
Stop the animu tho
I agree with you that dialogues and characterization in that film are shit but missing the ending is missing the entire point of the movie
Cooper Barnes
...
John Parker
There's the obvious possibility for the ending which I predict will be the ending. Either that on he flips the last part of the theory of dying. I'm not enjoying the aftermath trip a lot.
Henry Hill
i've been listening to this album for a year now and just now it is that i realized that under the album title 'here comes' is written backwards
