^ real prod thread

this one's 4 the sick linux hackers ww@
>Demystifying JACK – A Beginners Guide to Getting Started with JACK
libremusicproduction.com/articles/demystifying-jack-–-beginners-guide-getting-started-jack

fuck off

Truly pathetic

i tried to use linux for audio a few years ago and this jack shit drove me crazy

>trying to split /prod/

just kill yourselves liberals

sage goes in all fields

Go back to your containment /prod/

until trump gives a seminar on the benefits of gating drums @ red bull music academy he isn't at all related to music production. i'm really sorry

one more reminder before i abandon this shit thread

the real /prod/ is here:

this one is for bernout losers who probably unironically listen to purity ring, grimes and chvrches

>purity ring, grimes and chvrches
literally who

/prod/ doesn't get enough traffic to be split up like this. I'll stick with this one though since the OP has all the information.

I sure do wish I could be smart and cool like you... maybe one day I'll learn to dislike enough popular music and have enough shitty political puns to be what the kids call "dank"

other prod got pruned
>bump

>mod killed the other thread because of trump op pic
>this thread is literally content empty
>the other thread had music discussion and people posting their demos and getting opinnions
>this is just angry people making drama about an op pic of an old man with a funny wig

You are pathetic, Sup Forums, need to get your shit together, who the fuck cares if the op pic is a tranny or an ss agent, just stop being a faggot

new one is here

#MAGA

My God you people are children

How's my track? Criticism is appreciated.

clyp.it/wbpatsty

Whats a cheap synth that features an arpeggiator.

It's almost as if people don't want your shit everywhere

>It's almost as if people don't want your shit everywhere

Why do you even attack me, im only pointing out that the desicion on which thread to delete was completely biased and detrimental for the users

I can't believe anyone has a problem with what the OP pic is

You just make a war out of it and make it funny for them to keep posting shit

liberals cucked again

all the discussion is happening in

and not in your shit aspie thread

none of the shit in the OP helps I jsut want someone to teach me how to make my shit sound good

nobody here knows, they are all doing 90s experimental techno like it was hot

Lunga always wins

I'm not even touching that other /prod/ thread

Kek true, but the 90s house/techno revival is real

talk shit post clyp, you tard
>inb4 u first

hey fuck faces help me get goood

why does my kick always sound like shit. Like I'll listen to a one shot preview, drag it to impulse and then it sounds drastically different and all shitty

wtf

You guys have any advice on how to chop samples? I understand the basics and what not, but i just can't get my stuff to sound crisp. Sometimes i think i chop them too short, etc.

ableton.com/answers/drum-sample-preview-sounds-much-better-than-sample-in-drum-rack-any-fix

true, but i dunno, the 90s were like 16 years ago
its hard to know where revival starts and where its just people who have been hanging on to it for 16 years

check the envelope and other parameters, the most basic thing is that impulse has a default release of 2s or sth like that, so it cuts long tails
and there may or maybe not other parameters you want to touch too, but i remember release being the main issue with dragging shit to impulse

the 90s was actually 26 years ago..

d-don't do this to me user!

i feel fuckin old too now man.

can I like manually side chain with a midi controller instead of drawing in the modulation ?

you should just be able to put the settings in a compressor instead of automating volume

Wtf

:^(

Yes, just set the side chain source to the track you want to play the midi on as "prefader" then turn that tracks volume all the way down

I used to live in buckfast ;)

this desu

its only one or two butthurt cucks who cry about Sup Forums in these threads

Come home /prod/ man

how do i make instrumentals like rae sremmurd in abelton?

u dont
