I get where you're coming from with the mixed bag. His voice isn't really for everyone, I've always said in BigBang it's the "flavor" but of course that kind of means you either love it or hate it. He has gotten better about being more versatile over the years and his singing especially has improved. Even as someone who really loves him I find some of his parts on the early stuff unlistenable lol

thanks for that interview, I think its save to say that GD is a bit crazy but that's alright. I like that sort of thing. creepy songs rarely end up not being fun in some way - look at f(x)'s shadow.
a lot of bigbang's early stuff is pretty bad actually lol
but alive & made are some of the best albums in kpop and there's still plenty of good songs on all the other albums. GD's voice isnt that bad, it just takes time to get used to it but imagine you just got into kpop and there's hundreds of other songs waiting to be discovered... I just didn't have the patience for him at that time
