Sometimes
that's how i know that something is 5/5
It's weird. If I listen to music I haven't heard in a bit, it happens fairly often.
No, I have condition of the skin
I do a lot actually.
I still get goosebumps from parts in songs dated back like 10 years ago. Every single time when that part comes up I get goosebumps.
excuse me strimmer, it's called "FRISSON"
Yeah with really good parts of songs it happens
you mean duck skin?
Only happens the first time.
i get those goosebumps everytime yeah
NO ONLY YOU
NO ONE ELSE
YOU'RE SPECIAL
CONGRATULATIONS
Go back and listens to songs you really like and haven't heard in a while
>listens to music once
>goosebumps
ok
Nah, it happens pretty often. It was now that I decided to ask others.
Ya'll a bunch of music virgins....
>duck skin
Nah
>I decided to ask others.
WHY DIDN'T YOU GO TO THE HOSPITAL FIRST
THIS IS SERIOUS
YOU MIGHT BE DYING
All the time, it's an excellent barometer for what rules and what doesn't

yeah if its cold in my room
Only when it conveys an amazing message....messages such as this:
youtube.com
it does happen to me sometimes but usually only when i'm listening to something i just discovered
it also happened when i did this:

that was also coupled with emotions because i filmed it the day before i moved out of my parents house.
Used to happen often, but hardly ever anymore. I think the last time was about a year ago on Interstate 8 when "YOU GO OUT LIKE A RIPTIDE". It was the first time hearing that song in like five years. May have been the Baron Von Bullshit version.
Yes, but I'm more interested in WHAT music has given people goosebumps.
Honestly I got them today listening to Weird Fishes/Arpeggi
THERE WE COULD BE DANCING NO MORE MISSING YOU WHILE I'M GONE
every fucking time. and i probably listened to this song a hundred times. i still get the goosebumps it's ridiculous
what a perfect song
No but occasionally parts of my brain get a physically elated sensation that I can't quite describe.
We're just not jaded to the point we can't enjoy things anymore
I get them every time from Golden Chords. Looked up the lyrics so I can say which parts specifically, and I started tearing up from reading the first verse alone. It's honestly one of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard.
It has to be the right song for the right mood.
In the Flowers (the part where it kicks in) was the last time I think I got goose bumps from a song and that was a few months ago.
I've mostly gotten goosebumps seeing a band I love perform live but I haven't seen any shows recently except Brian Wilson perform Pet Sounds a few weeks ago and he sucks now.
For me. It just happens when a really good song comes on and my favorite little part plays. Just had to sound good for it to happen for me, nothing else has really affected it.
whats an example, user?
kek...:(
All the time. I only listen to the most patrician and emotionally moving music.
4.5 tbqh
all sorts. can't remember most of them but i got them the first time i listened to swans - avatar at that end bit
I get them from well-harmonized counter-melodies, especially when there's more than two parts and strings are involved.
>duck skin
What's goosebumps. Is it like duck skin or something
the only song that's ever done it is king park. The ending made me tense up and shiver.
Storm and Sllep from Lift yr Skinny fists always hit me hard, some King Crimson songs do this as well.
But i think Laughing stock takes the cake
Depends on the song.
Really only happens when I listen to "Morning Dew" and "Terrapin Station."
Godspeed and A Silver Mt. Zion will do it every time.
>duck skin
80's comedown machine gave me goosebumps desu
So did call it fate, call it karma
This is my best thread ever :D
All the time. Usually at specific parts in songs.
The first memorable time it happened was when the guitar solo in "My Friend Of Misery" came in.
taking acid and listening to the moon and antarctica
>King Park
You mean by La Dispute? Pretty surprised to hear that. A personal favourite band of mine.
La Dispute is amazing! I've started listening to them recently.
It's pretty much a serotonin surge (orgasm) senpai.
>I GET EATEN BY THE WORMS
chills every time. I'm with you brother.
Putting my library on shuffle
Will post upon climaxing
I GET THOSE GOOSEBUMPS EVERYTIME YEAH I NEED A HEIMLICH
sometimes when somebody hits a really strong emotional note with their voice gives me the heebie jeebies ie van morrison
>the drop in Larks' Tongues in Aspic Pt. 1
I used to, not anymore

only with this song
*DUNT*
CAN I STILL GET INTO HEAVEN IF I KILL MYSELF
I don't think I've ever gotten goosebumps before, but I have had an experience where my heart felt like it has sunken.

1:35 of Inside World gets me every single fucking time.
Came completely out of nowhere and gave me major goosebumps.

This. One time Winter's Love gave me goosebumps and made me shed a tear while I was driving
only if it's something I really like that I haven't heard in a long time
I usually don't get it the first time around, more from the nostalgia and memories on future listens
when bjork does that really rough growly HYYAAAH
I don't even know how to type it
Anything with crescendos, Swans and GY!BE especially.
Intricate, layered vocals that make an overwhelming effect, like Suffy's Predatory Wasp of the Palisades!, Chelsea Wolfe's They'll Clap When You're Dead, and Have a Nice Life's Bloodhail.
A really gorgeous melody will do it to; Joanna Newsom has a knack for giving me chills. '81 and Divers get me every time.
got em today on the bus home listening to Mouth of Ghosts by Dillinger Escape Plan. When it kicks in at the end is so awesome, so different for Dillinger, anybody got some band suggestions similar to this type of music??
Only when I'm playing with other people. Feels really really good when everyone knows their instrument. I like it more then sex.
My favourite instance of it happening was the ancestor verse in Bjork's Cosmonogy
>duck skin
Its how I know if something is 5/4
;^)
Wow you are a simpleton

Honestly, this did it for some reason
I constantly seek that emotion in music
High notes will give me goosebumps, occasionally.
It's why I like Broadway so much.
It was probably your dick desu
I think this just gave me a chronic skin condition from the stress it gave me.
I used to when i was 12 and listened to shitty skrillex-tier dubstep. I would get goosebumps when the drop occurred. But not since then; i listen to DnB/Jungle, House/Techno and some ambient but no matter how good something sounds, i never get goosebumps.

>that massive build up to a climax
Most songs I like give me goosebumps tbqh though it depends on my mood.
Getting them now listening to Amy macdonald
been going to the see the orchestra every couple of weeks lately, get goosebumps all the time sitting in the cheap seats right up the front
The only thing that gives me goosebumps anymore is that part in After the Flood right before Hollis goes SHAKE MY HEAD
I get this with With the first track on Ladies and gentlemen we're floating in space.
This is the gayest thing I've heard in months.
Underage b&
I'm unironically a faggot, so that's fine.
Musicals are good regardless of sexuality tho
I'm 18 bro
